I think a lot of ppl miss the point with Rean venting to Gugu (not saying that about YBR, just speaking in general terms)....... it's actually really reasonable to want freedom and independence if you're constantly being coddled to the point it feels like you're suffocating. Obviously on the flip side, if you're an orphan then you'd be craving that kind of attention. People are shaped by their environments, nobody is wrong here.

It's a bit hard to tell what happened with the anime as it goes by quick, but when he saved Rean by pushing her they were on top of a cliff and he fell down pretty high. So it wasn't a case of people leaving his body there but just nobody seeing him be crushed.
