One thing to remember is that when it first happened, Takemichi told Naoto as a child everything that happened. Because of this, Naoto always knew what was going to originally happen.

when takemichi changes the past only him and naoto remember the previous timelines cuz one is the time traveler and the other one is the trigger, naoto is conscious when the change happens so it must be even rougher for him LMAO

Also, whenever a meaningful change happens is when the timeline changes drastically and previous events are rewtriiten to fit the new timeline, that´s why when a change does happen Takemichi isn´t in Naoto´s house anymore

No it doesn't. Remember Naoto told Takemichi on the phone that he was able to change the past. If his memories got rewritten then Naoto wouldn't have realized that something changed so like Takemichi Naoto retains his memory of the previous timeline even if Takemichi changes something.
