Just to be clear, there's no way to bring Tsukasa back without petrifying him, any known thawing method would destroy all his cells. It's why cryogenically freezing someone for the future isn't viable yet. I'm only mentioning it cuz of the joke about bringing him back and telling him he's gonna die anyway lol

Tsukasa was ten billion percent dead before he got frozen. In addition, once you start the freezing process the water molecules will form ice crystals that will rip apart his cells. So the process of freezing him undoubtedly killed him. What freezing him accomplishes is the preservation of his corpse. This is needed to be able to re-petrify him in the future so they can revive him.

it doesn't matter cause the revival fluid can fix any damage and senku was without a doubt dead for at least a day. and remember tsukasa still had some of the stone on his hair so he can be brought back even years after being frozen as long as the stone on his body does not crumble.
