Lmao I don’t think Sheera was that off in the Kotomine talking to Gilgamesh about pleasure scene. Even my dad said “what…are they fuckin or something? Are they GOING to fuck? Is that what they’re trying to tell us?” during that same scene when I got him to watch this show. It's just the author making an inside joke because a LOT of people (including himself) thought Saber was Joan d'Arc the first time they read the original Visual Novel. So the joke is that they actually do look nearly identical in-universe, so Caster confuses them (also, he's kind of out of touch with reality).

BTW Roshi, there is a thing in the Fate series called the 'Saberface' trope. Pretty much there's a couple of characters with the same kind of face(Saber's as the name implies), mostly because it's a face that the character designer loved drawing. There's an in-universe reason as well, but it's just there to handwave in an excuse for it. It's amusing because in FGO there's a hidden stat that's pretty much: "Saberface: Yes or No" that has SOME effect with certain enemies.

Idk if they were still confused on this or not but it seemed like it so this is just in case. So assassin's master is apart of the church which acts as safe ground and like referee I guess for the war. They planned from the beginning to work with Gilgamesh's master and staged Assassin "Death" so when Roshi why can't they send Assassin it's because not everyone knows that they're still in play working for Gilgamesh's master giving him all the information. Just thought y'all might want to know but Caster said he was Gilles de Rais. Gilles de Rais was a knight and lord from Brittany and a companion-in-arms of Joan of Arc. He is best known for his reputation and later conviction as a confessed serial killer of children. After the year 1432, Rais was accused of engaging in a series of child murders, with victims possibly numbering in the hundreds.  At his trial the parents of missing children in the surrounding area and Rais's own confederates in crime testified against him. He was condemned to death and hanged at Nantes on 26 October 1440. Rais is believed to be the inspiration for the French folktale "Bluebeard", of which is speculated it's earliest recording dating 1697.

Hope you guys will end up watching Heaven's Feel trilogy. Zero and UBW are awesome, but the movies are what really made me a fan of the franchise, left me with feels for days (pun intended) the animation is godlike too, levels above even what we see here in Zero

I mean, that's literally what happened to Jacques de Molay, the last Grandmaster of the Templars, since a certain frog king & a certain corrupt pope owed the Templar Order TOO MUCH SHEKELINOS, and didn't want to pay those back as they legally should. So they faked up charges of heresy or w/e the fuck (w/ the backing of the Pope who as I said, also owed the Order a shitload of money, while the physical capture etc was done by he frog king since they were situated in France at the time), then he was burned on a bonfire. It's because he had a biography written after the fact that most "historical information" about the guy comes from, even though a lot of it doesn't really match with the court records from the case (like the bullshit where the 80 parents of the kids he murdered were all called up to give testimony at the same time, which didn't happen in any capacity). The evidence that was provided at the trial didn't really make much sense and he was only really charged because he confessed to the crime (which strangely happened overnight after adamantly denying it for the entire trial, implying they beat the confession out of him). Even the French courts officially overturned the results of the trial in 1994 because of how bullshit the whole thing was. You shouldn't really trust anything just because "it sounds possible". That's how they got him executed to begin with.

It's been said already in the comments, but, Roshi, this Saber is in fact King Arthur of England. She was ever the only one to wield Excalibur. Of course Caster doesn't know that because Saber will not expose herself that much about herself. (And because I'm sure yall wont see the other alternate/spinoff series, Joann of Arc does appear in the Saber class)
