the difference here is that most of it is intentional, not because it's outsourced. it's a stylistic choice of the director to use more "off model" character models with the animation style he does

I like how it shows that at the end of the day these are just kids playing a sport that they love and that these aren't "enemies" or bad people. Just kids enjoying a game they want to be better at.
