Based on what he said near the end there I think he pretended to be hacked and went willingly to find his creator like a double agent. Also in defense to if he was hacked, there are people who can brainwash and hypnotize others in this world so he's about as susceptible to being turned unwillingly as anyone else not immune to brainwashing or hypnotism.

Every time I watch these reactions to this series I just find more and more dumb logic and convenient plot devices put in everywhere. As bad as this series can sometimes be it still beats the dumb shit that the woke people in DC and Marvel force into both franchises. DC and Marvel are literally dying out because nothing they make besides the occasional decent movie is worth your time.

These kids are stupid. There was entire episode about them getting clapped by these robots for 20 minutes. Why the hell are they running off to go fight them again? They'd have just been unceremoniously killed off if Red Tornado actually was reprogrammed.

We have to remember western cartoons, including the ones with darker concepts, are still limited by a harsh filter for western media criteria. Which is also why we should drop shows like this even if they're good. Imagine if there was super obvious advertisement break cuts with ad cut out and the like as well

Why would you want to turn off Red Tornado?, he never betrayed them. He was playing his creator, and they said it was weeks since he was gone missing. Either T.O,Morrow could not reprogramm him to serve him, or he did not think of it. Eitherway there is no reason to dismantle him. Other heroes get mind controlled more often
