Honestly u can’t get mad at Eren or Gabi they did what they did because of the person or people who started all that mess. I love Sasha and I’m upset she died but I’m fine with it since this is the last season and basically all the characters are dead after the season ends so it doesn’t really matter now. But if she died In season 2 or 3 I would’ve been more upset. I still like gabi. Be more upset at the creator for killing off characters not the characters in the show. Be honest if u were in gabi’s shoes wouldn’t u have acted the same way I know I would’ve. She’s not to blame.

Sasha was one of my favorites and this episode really hit me even tho I knew it would happen. The beating of Gabi was decently satisfactory, but not quite savory. Falco was an unfortunate victim of the beating.

Gabi's point with the "did you see it?" was childish, of course, but it's part of a larger point. Why should Gabi care about what happened on Paradis to people she's never met, and who in her view, deserved it? The attack on Paradis had nothing to do with her, and yet she and everyone else in the Internment Zone are suffering, yet again. When you've got revenge on your mind, your first instinct isn't to say "well maybe the other person just had a bad day", your first instinct is to get to bussin.

I know a lot of people criticize Gabi for not understanding why the people from Paradis are doing this but if you put yourself in her shoes would you care that they are doing this for revenge or self defense? I know I wouldn't. I love the way AoT portrays war because I really feel like nobody is wrong from each person's perspective. Eren isn't wrong for wanting to attack Marley because they will never leave Paradis alone and Gabi isn't wrong for wanting to kill them because at the end of the day they destroyed her hometown and killed her loved ones no matter what the reason is.

Also you're forgetting Zeke is royalty. Him and Eren are perefect partners in crime because Eren has the founding titan without the brainwashing and Zeke has royal blood which will enable them to use the founding titan and control the rumbling. Its actually pretty fucking smart since Zeke was realizing the Eldians usefulness to the marlians was running out. One thing to take note of: No one outside the walls knew that the people inside had their memories wiped. They thought the "devils" went to the island and abandoned the rest of the Eldians, and are just living up the high life with their king. Everyone hates them. So while the scouts and them feel like they received an unprovoked attack and are doing this for revenge, the rest of the world are seeing it as "We finally got to heal and rebuild after the terrible Eldians left for their paradise. Who knows when they will end the world with their Millions of Colossal Titan Nukes. It took us 100 years to heal, now lets fuck them up!!!!"

Gabi's "neither of us saw that happen" pretty much sums up the cycle of violence in this show. Yes, it's a flawed mentality, but it's not only Gabi who acted that way. The world outside the walls hates/attacks the Eldians because they used the Titan power to subjugate the world for almost 2 millennia. While there is also the element of Marley's greed, Reiner and the others attacked the wall rightly believing (based on all available knowledge of history, since the Tyburs kept the secret that it was dormant) that the power of the Founding Titan was an existential threat to the world. And now, because it's in the hands of Eren, it is an active existential threat. But the people of the walls "didn't see that happen" when it comes to the dark history of Ymir's power. So, the Paradis squad attack Marley and the rest of the world — more specifically an Eldian (their own people!) interment zone that was occupied by soldiers and leaders of Marley and the rest of the world. The people of Paradis did this because they got unfairly attacked and subjugated for a century by Marley's titans and warriors. However, Gabi "didn't see that" happening. So, she goes up there and shoots the person who shot two of her mentors down right in front of her. She can be justified or she can not be justified, but either way she's exactly as justified in seeking revenge/protecting her home as Sasha who shot the guards in the first place, who is exactly as justified as Reiner who broke down the walls. Like I think Lupa said, this cycle of different sides taking revenge and reacting to attacks based on their own limited context will only end when someone decides to take the L and be the bigger person to try and make amends.

Rules of engagement (ROE) should have been used and briefed before hand. Child soldiers are a real thing and they will use tactics in war to manipulate an enemy stronghold through refugee camps or prison camps. Yes zeke does have royal blood. His mom is Dina Fritz, the Titan that ate eren’s mom. This was shown back in season 3 so it’s not a spoiler. Zeke has not told any of the higher ups in Marley that he has royal blood

Not a spoiler but Isayama(the mangaka) wanted to have Sasha killed back in season 3 when she was fighting off the smaller titan with her bow and arrow. However her death was so gruesome that the editor begged him to change his mind. He did end up revising the scene but he did say that Sasha was always a disposable character. After all this, that monologue Bertholt gave in his last fight makes complete sense. I think it's interesting too how people who get the memories of everything that's happened, they get a kinda God complex. The Reiss' in the walls, the Tyburs, and even Eren- when they get all these memories they think they know best what to do and make decisions that cost other people's lives. The Reiss' have known what happened this whole time with the memories of the Founding Titan but had just DECIDED let their people stay getting clapped up and ignorant to the rest of the world. The Tyburs knew the true history also, but DECIDED to be the worlds greatest uncle Toms and let their people be abused and demonized the Eldians in the walls for generations. And now Eren, since he's drawn his own conclusions DECIDED to kinda force the scouts to take action in this battle, and killed a bunch of civilians. And they'r able to disconnect their conscience because they convince themselves it's for the best because they know everything and have seen the memories firsthand.. Eren didn't show a single hint of hesitation or regret until he found out what happened to Sasha. My mans was like ._.

i have not read the manga past season three so here’s my theory (if you have read the manga don’t confirm or deny anything) the reason zeke is the way he is, when he was a kid, even before he was born, his parents’ marriage and the reason for his birth was always so he could carry griesha’s ideology. he became a candidate at a young age, and who else would expiernce the reality of eldians living under the oppression of marlyians first hand other than the candidates? zeke realized that no matter how many eldians die for marley, they will never be equal to them. and when griesha pushed his beliefs on zeke (the same way his grandfather did to griesha) he realized how the cycle is going to keep repeating and in oder to stop the oppression eldians has to get their freedom with their own hands. zeke probably knew that he’s indispensable since he had royal blood, and that griesha’s recklessness is going to stop him from acquiring a titan, so he reported him in order to gain the official’s trust. (which he did) even when griesha almost blurted out that dina is royalty, the owl shut him as to not compromise zeke’s position (which leads me to believe the owl has something to do with this) [AGAIN DON’T CONFIRM NOR DENY]

Lupa: "Turn into a titan and build a fucking ship" Well about that, one of the things that was left out of the anime in season 3 is that they did try to have eren in titan form build things , but it simply wasn't possible. Eren in titan form simply doesn't have the movement precision needed... and they wouldn't have tools the right size anyway. As for Armin, i'm pretty sure that his size and temperature would cause problems
