From what I understood, the suit was given to him by the old guy shown in the first episode, the guy he replaced playing chess. Old guy is talking about the slide system of the helmet, and how it was made by the guys "who is number one in the world." You can also see he's being geassed by Lelouch.

Not Sheera telling them orange is just a made up thing. I love her but she definitely need to stick with what she said she wasn't gone do, which is make predictions. There honestly isn't a reason to provide explanations when the story is going to explain itself. When I first watched this for the first time which is recently, I wasn't sure what orange meant. I only speculated until he confirmed it later on in a different scene. It would be better if she held most of her commentary to the end of episodes and maybe facilitate more of the discussions. Just because you don't fully remember, doesn't mean those memories are gone. It shows when she provides explanations and make statements of scenes explained later in the episode or future episodes.

about lelouch initial gear if you guys remember in episode 1 the noble old dude that lelouch was helping him in his chess matches, there was actually a scene in this episode that shows lelouch and that noble taking to each other, it is obvious that lelouch used his geass power on the noble in order to obtain some money and other useful items ... the show intentionally didn't make that clear to make lelou entrance and set up unpredictable as much as possible also don't forget that lelou is a former Britain prince, even so, everyone believes that he is dead like they said in episode 3 but still he is in care of a rich britain family that knows his identity as i remember the family name is ashford ... you guys saw that scene with the noble but you guys just didn't understand it .
