Would you guys consider doing 3 episodes next week to wrap up season 1?

it’s fun watching you react to these, but honestly no team in Haikyuu are real villains (except maybe one off the top of my head lol). Every team has players you can definitely grow to love even if they are playing Karasuno. I love that most of Haikyuu’s morality is grey and not black and white like a lot of shows, because honestly it’s a team sport and instead of evil people you’re mostly going to find people who are just passionate about the sport.

Lmao the neck jokes is fun imagine if y’all watch welcome to the ballroom it’s over the neck jokes would be out of control !! But I can’t wait for season 1 finale thats shit is hype as fck!

I think they most likely will. They don't usually leave an episode out when it comes to the ending of a season.

Oikawa is a lot like Bakugo in the sense that he’s a dick and acts superior, but it covers up a lot of inferiority that he feels. Very flawed person, yes, but one thing he isn’t is a dictator in the vein that Kageyama was. I don’t see how you guys keep thinking he’s like the old Tobio, when he has repeatedly (through inner monologue) addressed Kageyama’s flaws of taking things on himself, not trusting his team, and alienating them as a result. He clearly knows that is not what a good setter does. Whereas - ever since Iwa head butted him - he has confided in his team, trusted them, and dedicated himself to tailoring to each of them to bring out 100% of their potential. If anything, he lets his teammates walk all over him! lol He lets Iwa and the other third years keep him grounded. Oikawa is an ass to his opponents, and he has an ego, but he is very self aware and I respect the shit out of that. Plus, at the end, he didn’t go “full villain” so much as “full rival” because there aren’t villains in this show. He was pissed off, but excited. Because he is a volleyball idiot and the evolution Kageyama has undergone has presented Oikawa with an even higher wall for him to climb. Instead of despairing, he smiles because he loves that challenge. Oikawa is a true athlete and a genuine volleyball idiot with a hilarious petty streak. Any of my manga readers here know what’s up with the finale of the series. “Talent is something that you make bloom.”

This! I love how Furudate writes the characters. No one is evil or malicious. Just have different experiences and different ways of expressing their passion / attaining their goals. And the team you’re talking about, without spoilers... we’re they in an OVA? lol
