A little fun fact is that Aunt Wu was wrong in ATLA. She predicted that Katara would " have a third grandchild be born before passing away in your sleep" Well now tenzin and Pama have 4 kids and she's still alive.

People like to pretend that the beginning of the season sucks but if you understand the emotions and the depth of the 1st season coupled with water tribe and team avatar drama the first six episodes they are very good especially the sixth. I will admit the first two episodes are slower than the rest of Korra but I love the development of Korra struggling to be a fully-realized avatar who has already defeated a villain who still gets handled like she's a kid for some reason. That would be infuriating for anyone and even in Korras b*tch moments she literally apologizes like the same episode so I don't understand why people don't give her a pass. And the civil war episodes have great themes about unconditional love and the struggles we all know of being a part of a family unit. But if one doesnt understand or care ab the characters ofyou may not love the depth of it but while I'm in the minority I love this part of Korra. Love the 3 episode drops ur doing thanks alot!!

First half of Book 2 is a bit tough to watch through but the second half makes up for it (especially next week's two parter). Book 3 is really solid and is generally considered the best season. Book 4 is pretty good too. My favorite is still Book 1 though, I just love the villain and general atmosphere.

My biggest problem with Korra is how much of a whiny kid she is. Like you know you got a lot to be learning from all, as she got repeatedly folded in Book 1 until finally its "Oh that's what you were saying, I think I'll listen now. I'm sick of getting washed constantly."😂😂😂😂

The only reason she is like this is the writers threw out her development for book 2 because they already ended the show. If you know what I'm talking about, korra and her less than desirable behavior is more tolerable in book 2. She DID develop in book 1, but they erased it since they already ended the show, thanks to Nickelodeon. Every time she got washed, there was a circumstance that made the fight unfair, without which she would have won easily. So her losing has nothing to do with her skill.

Ppl fail to understand korra so much so i will try to break it down as much as i can. First things first, she was lied to by her father nd all the white lotus ppl tht its was aang’s orders to keep her in solitary for 16 years so of course she will be mad. All her life she was taught to fight so she became a hotheaded person who tries to solve everything through fighting. The nickelodeon ppl were very sexist about korra so writers had a hard time flourishing her character.

I can understand the dislike for this season as a whole, because of the drama aspect of some things. But I've honestly never understood why this season gets so much hate or just this show in general. I remember watching Avatar when it first came out and have always loved it, I was in high school when Legend of Korra came out and loved it too. There are issues in both shows but just because I have an issue with a couple aspects of the show or even just a particular season ive never let it change how I feel about everything as a whole. Just my personal perspective, please don't attack me lol.

i loved the design of the spirits in last airbender more, i kinda don't like the spirits in this. especally that they are impervious to bending feels weird. P.S.: The Nights at the South Pole are kinda cold, of course aang got multiple children ;D.
