Eren the type of dude to renege playing spades. He didn't care about the people dying or himself, but all of a sudden gets a powerup when he figured that he could get some puss. He got out the friend zone and finally entered the combat zone.

First half of season 3 is pretty boring to me. It isn't bad but it doesn't live up to the hype everything else has. I'd say it is just a big part being too much politics in it. Don't get me wrong it has some dope ass parts in it but the 2nd half of season 3 is way better to me.

You're seeing why AoT is so highly regarded and it only gets wilder and better from here. It's one thing to have a really great series. It's another to have one that starts off on a good note, and adds a new layer of complexity with every season while it continues to keep up A+ quality. Because of that AoT is the best manga/anime of this generation IMO.

Its not like they will skip it, either way, the story is essential for them to know all the origins. And its always good to see them confused once again, lupa san getting light headed, sheera with some strong points but missing lead, and roshi trying to comprehend everything but only able to get 50% information of it lol

I'd recommend this time to get into the OVA's. Ilse's Journal, No Regrets, and Lost Girls (OVA 1, 4-5, 6-8) are all fairly essential to expanding on the characters.

Because of the lockdown I binged watched the entirety of AoT and my mind was so blown away. Such an epic series that evolves unexpectedly and puts an emphasis on utilising the majority of its characters. Can’t wait for those season 3 reactions. Especially the first two episodes 😉
