This is one of the best episodes of the arc lol. People who don't care about minor characters barely know the qualities of Hunter X Hunter. Togashi's storytelling is at its best when he surprises you with poetic moments. The way nen abilities reflect their users' characteristics is definitely a major plot point in this series. You seemed to have missed this, but Ikalgo figured it out that whenever Welfin tells the truth, his ability weakens.

A lot of reactors kept wanting Ikalgo to simply kill Welfin, but they forgot 2 very simple principles. First, Welfin's ability would kill Ikalgo if his resistance level raised enough for muder. Secondly, there's nen after death. So even if Ikalgo miraculously survive initially, he'd still die to the strengthened missile man residue.

Bro that was me the first time around, and the re-watch with my gf. But I've probably seen it now 5+ times...and honestly this episode is such fire. Welfin is mad underappreciated. Which is fair given there are so many other amazing moments in this arc. Damiester below is spot on.
