What I got from that was the people who live in the tower and the ones chosen by Headon are regulars. I think irregulars are the ones who force the gates of the tower open to get in maybe that's why the guy was saying they are strong.

NO SPOILERS IN THIS COMMENT. To be clear - What Lero ro was saying was that people are born and live out their lives in the outer part of the tower (but still inside inside the physical structure of the tower). It's called the residential zone. Some of those people are chosen by Headon to climb the inner part of the tower and they start their climb on the floor that they are on in this episode. This all makes more sense if you speak Korean. The Korean word that got translated into "Regular" (seonbyeolinwon) actually means "chosen" or "chosen regular." Irregulars were not chosen - they found their way into the inner part of the tower all by themselves. They are "not chosen" - which is why the Crunchyroll subtitles original read "non-regular" before people complained and they changed it to match the Webtoon - "irregular." It's confusing because "irregular" means odd or different in English - which is actually true for irregulars in this tower - but in Korean what the author really meant irregular to mean is "not chosen [by Headon]." Hope that clears it up.

Small clarification from the info given in the episode - regulars are the ones chosen (from the outer tower residents) by Headon to go into the inner tower to climb, irregulars are those that don't follow the rules of the tower and AREN'T chosen by Headon

What i can make out is Headon didn't choose Bam but gave him a test. Bam actually forced open the gate where he met headon. Not sure though I may be wrong

@Edgar Luna Facts, they also need to change up the animation cause in s2 and s3 it changes drastically. Which is a good thing and hopefully they don't skip stuff here and there because s2 is very very long so it cant be ur regular 12, 13, 24, or 25 ep season or else the anime will really look like the next Tokyo Ghoul.🤦🏽‍♂️

Really cool to me that shinsoo is like water and there's a lot of metaphors of ships / fish / fishermen. It's everywhere in the Tower. When Leroro says "it lets us breathe" he isn't exaggerating -- there is no air. Just shinsoo. In low concentrations it's like air, in higher concentrations like water. 신수 shin soo - divine water Actually divine is a correct translation but it kind of doesn't have the same connotations. 신 is also the word for a god or the God, capital G, as in Tower of God, and also the holy spirit. Christians though will generally speaking say Hana-nim instead (hana = one, nim = respect suffix, exactly like Japanese -sama)
