I thought the same thing...I think it's Ren rationalizing his faults than truly accepting them for what they are. And he seems to be the one that should know better but doesn't grow from his errors. But, there was a lot of "guilty by association" coming through Naofumi's words.

Also in the last ep when Naofumi used his rage shield to put all the shields up and save them from that NUKE 😂 , he usually goes crazy using it, but since Fitoria slowed down the corrosion/corruption its not taking over as much so it seems like he's getting used to it 👍

Don't listen to those fools telling you this is bad. Those are the fools that complained when this show came out that it should be shut down because of the way a woman was being portrayed AKA Myne. Just because a woman was doing those evil acts that happen all the time even to this day. Also their is nothing wrong with a fucking love triangle or whatever the fuck you wanna call it. Ever heard of the genre of Harem? Harem is HUGE in a lot of anime/manga and the fucks that have a problem with it aren't really anime fans. I understand a series not being up to par in the story quality or the anime adaptation being shit but the reasons people use to shit on this show are so trivial it is simply stupid.

People hate anime for different reasons. I love the show, but that's also because it shifts the dynamic. I love Sword Art Online too, but that's because I love the psychological affect the story has on the Kirito over all of the seasons

to give some perspective the replica was considered a failure for 2 reasons 1- being it drains massive amounts of mana and 2- when compared to the cardinal weapons of the time of it's creation they found out it was drastically weaker even though it could use all the skills. the hero optimize their build the only one that did was naofumi and the problem is he's really just under level now.

I think Ralphtalia was hitting hard than them because of the legendary shield providing a trade off like how naofumi attack is so low it’s nonexistent but instead his defense is so high to compensate
