I'm pretty sure filo gets the rage buff because she ate almost all of the dragon core when they fought the zombie dragon. She kept a little part for naofumi as a gift and it got embedded in his chest armor. Considering she is in his party it buffs her as well when it's used.

Yeah the sword wasn't so much as insulting him, thought it was slight. He was more saying it's just an OP AF attack, basically a cheat if you spam it. But it is bogus that they can't put any respek on my man's Naofumi's name
