Aangs master was a G, the only body still at the temple surrounded by dead Fire Nation scum lol he put in some work! Also for clarification what was that all about at the temple? Did he fully "awaken" or something along those lines?

I just noticed that Zuko is fighting up in experience. But he's also fighting up in weight class. Zhao probably got like 20-30lb on him. Blow for blow, Zhao has more force behind his hits than Zuko can put out. And Zuko has less tanking ability than Zhao does. Interesting

Fun fact Jason Isaacs plays Zhao. He's the one who played Draco's father, Lucius Malfoy, in Harry Potter. He also played Captain Hook in 2003 Peter Pan. The voice actor for the Fire Lord, Ozai, is Mark Hamill who played Luke Skywalker and who's been the voice actor for Joker since the 90's. The voice actor who has played Robin in Teen Titans plays a few side charactes in this show. And the voice actress for Catwoman and Thorn from Scooby Doo, amongst others, plays Azula, Zuko's sister.

Don't remember if it was in the commentary or elsewhere but the creators discussed the dropped subplot that Momo was supposed to be the reincarnation of Monk Gyatso, Aang's guardian. Which is why he seems to be almost supernaturally smart and immediately dedicated to Aang. Eventually they just left him as a simple animal but for a good portion of this first season you can see the strings in Momo's actions and how they could be read as an old friend trying to help out even if he can only do so as a pet.
