It's bogus, but you understand why he reacts to royalty that way. He can't risk getting played again, or getting caught up in some game between them. Plus they've only ever done him dirty, so it makes sense. Though you would think he would have at least heard what she had to say after stopping the fight, but it all could've been a big setup in the end

If you think about it from Naofumi's position, he knows three members of this family, two of them fairly well. Both of them have done everything in their power to destroy his life from start to finish for no reason whatsoever so far as he could discern. He doesn't know the Queen's been using her spies to look out for him. The spies appeared several times now, of course, but he doesn't know who they are. So, from his position, there's a far greater likelihood that this is some new trick cooked up by Myne and the King -- "They're probably trying to get me to trust Melty just so they can screw me again when I least expect it." The proof of that belief is the fact that he made sure to take her somewhere there were witnesses he knew he could trust to some degree not to lie on the royals' behalf. So, from the moment he found out she was royal, he immediately threw up every defense he could think of.

Yup but as her body grows she does mature into and adult technically so her age is kinda irrelevant, same issue with clones they come out full grown but they are still infant age. So she is technically legal ^_^"
