I'm not finished with the reaction yet. While Hisoka is lying to the Troupe, Kurapika actually does have the ability to restrict Hisoka's speech if he wanted to through his judgment chain lol.

This arc just continues to be excellent, which is a testament to Yoshihiro Togashi's genius writing.

The VHS tape young Chrollo was tossing around at the beginning of the episode might be a reference or nod to the Chapter Black tape from YYH, Togashi's previous series.

HxH did such a good job of introducing the rules to its powers system by drip feeding it to you. Each new rule doesn't feel like a asspull or anything and makes complete sense within the context of the other rules. This arc really does a good job of explaining all the rules of nen with how Kurapika handles it!

"dawg am I ever gonna see Leorio scrap?"

Yo, sweet reactions. But your ending theme though, if it's not some proprietary thing, then pls let me know where you got it

I am curious why are you watching this in subbed when the dub is out?

Surazaku

Yeah well for this anime you are not wrong I suppose

Surazaku

Fair enough the dub on this one is not the greatest anyway

honestly for me i have just watched subs for so long i cant get used to dubs anymore plus i cringe when i hear us westerners try and pronounce japanese names so that dont help either XD

1: It comes out faster and you can watch it day of release 2: Not all Dub anime is good and why risk it when you have the sub 3: More emotion is portrayed in Subs than Dubs 4: Little things translate better, greetings, simple mannerisms I do have some Animes that I have watched dubbed, but only when I have to. Like when I working on projects and cannot focus on reading subtitles. However, if that is the case, I cannot watch it subbed then go back to dubbed because the wording and the overall sound/feel is different.
