Pretty solid, the next season will be fire. 3rd season content is a little too anime tropey at first but it turns up afterwards

Yeah that’s the weird or good thing about this manga it has the basic shonen tropes but it’s executed very well imo

Kaiju No 8, the show about how us old men still got some left in us. Ft Kafka and the director lmfao. For real tho, this show came out of no where for me. Finally gonna pick up the manga hard and catch up. I'm too hype for S2.

Nah gen looked whack in the manga panel too. It might be cuz i just started reading it after the season ended, but i will say gen when he pop's off the next time we see him in combat. Looked way cooler in the manga than this scene in either. So ill give em another shot.

Kaiju No. 8 definitely took inspiration from AOT. Eren got informal trial when he was found out as a Titan. Eren didn't control Titan when they attempt to plug Trost district.

Did nobody catch that the kaiju inside kafka said “kill, kill kaiju” when it first took over his body?😭 The main reason the kaiju turned up in the first place was because it thought it was fighting another kaiju since shinomia was using kaiju No. 2 weapons/powers

I like how fast everyone likes the dad now cause from Shinomiya's backstory nobody was fucking with him but because of 1 fight we got to see more of his character I like that, it was really well done

Kikoru’s dad also looked hilariously round in episode 11 (the absence of his neck doesn’t help either). The scene of him in the hospital with Kafka, his face looks longer than it did in 11. Then again I haven’t read the manga, tho I’m tempted to now.

Im gonna go out on a limb here and say The directors wife was a human kaiju and it never got reported, and he ended up having to kill her. Makes sense he would be involved with a woman whos got insane power levels like he does.

Yeah in some parts of Asia they have cremation vans, more so used for pets. So they come to the family to cremate the pet so its a good send off as you said. Sucks but if anyone reading has to put down their pet, vets can do in home euthanasia so your love one isn't scared in a foreign place, they can be home surrounded with their pack and home. Kikoru's dad is right about bringing Kafka in. So far, no officer has been able to draw out 100% of their kaiju suits, so they definitely need a kaiju on their side that can use 100% of his power. Kafka is like the perfect numbered weapon who can actually blend in perfectly with his suit.
