They skipped a lot that they did not have to skip from this volume, but the reason why white rice is not seen before is because it does not exist. Rimuru had Shion use her reality altering ability from Master Chef unique skill to alter black rice (something that Tempest produce) and change black rice to white rice. Also the black rice is magicule dense so ordinary humans could get sick from eating them, but strong humans would actually regain their magic power. Thanks for the reaction

Not a manga/light novel reader so I don't know if there's more lore that would make Seven Celestials/Luminaries vs. Seven Days the better translation (other than just the latter sounding more mundane than the former) 🤷🏻‍♀️

Majority of the dialogue in Mushoku tensei is meaningful and gets straight to the point. Slime just has niggas sitting and yapping in a single room for mad episodes straight. It's pretty obvious why people don't complain about the dialogue in Mushoku as opposed to Slime. The excuse that it's based off a light novel is a poor one. Saying people would not be able to survive light novels is an insanely dumb take cause niggas are here to watch an anime not read a book, so it needs to be adapted in a way for animeonlys to enjoy.
