All of the parasytes have the ability to switch bodies. The only exception I can think of is ones like Heidi that only partially take over . I think even Migi could have probably switched to someone elses hand. Didn't they cover this early on in Parasyte: The Maxim?

Maybe, but why does that matter? Not everyone has an excellent memory. Its been nearly 10 years since Parasyte was released. Given that most people can't even remember what they did yesterday, asking someone to remember a fact like that over the span of years is a bit of a stretch.
