i mean the dimming. when flashy effects are present the screen dims and you basically see nothing I think we only get the undimmed versions when crunchyroll is a producer of an anime but in not sure

Fw the show so far but definitely need a Evangelion reaction. Story has some similarities to it but homegirl is so close to being literally Asuka its funny Pig tails, confidence, parent issues, and all. But at least you can stand being around her

I do like that her "shitty parent" dilema doesn't seem to be the typical "My parent is mean and abusive :(" situation that happens in most anime, but it's more like her dad DOES want her to be the best that she can be, he is just inherently an asshole and expresses it horribly. I'm an anime only though so idk this could change

I think everyone was surprised by Kafka pulling his suit’s percentage up like that because nobody ever increased their score that quickly. It probably takes countless hours of training and effort to increase the synchronicity with the suit like that.

Dude is pre-No 1 Endeavor, full stop. The only difference is, there is unlikely to be a trigger for a redemption arc for Shinomiya the way All Might’s retirement was for Endeavor. So he’s going to be a Grade A asshole for the foreseeable future.

I thought that at first but the one that shot kikoru was clearly a kaiju that can become a human, the reverse of kafka, given that it didn't understand how to use a phone or that the kaiju suit was a suit and not kikorus skin.

I thought it was pretty straightforward that just like the bug kaiju that entered Kafka and made him a Kaiju, a bug kaiju entered that new guy and turned him into a kaiju, but the bug kaiju is in control. I am guessing usually the bug kaijus take over the humans and become a super strong humanoid kaiju that can turn back into its human form, like we saw at the end. But Kafka is probably the only exception, where the bug kaiju "lost" to Kafka's human mind and the human is in control.

I love how quickly the show turned us around on Shinomiya. She started out as this stereotypical haughty rich girl character. And then we see that she's worked really hard to get where she is because of the pressure from her dad. And her determination is so dope ("When I'm on the battlefield, nobody dies!"). And the fact that, even coming from a privileged position, she still expresses gratitude and trust towards Kafka for saving her life by keeping his secret.

I understand that, basically in terms of Bleach Kafka would belong in the Visoreds group, Soul Reapers with Hollow powers, and the talking Kaiju would belong to the Arrancar group, Hollows with Soul Reaper powers. I'm saying there's a possibility of there being a group of humans that can turn into Kaijus.

I think they missed how he didn't know how to answer a phone at first. It gives it away it wasn't human first. Just like Kafka is a human who can turn into a Kaiju I think that intelligent one is a Kaiju who can turn into a human
