ya'll we never escaping from baek hee seong fr..... i think it's really important to remember that gang tae is dealing with serious trauma from his childhood, even if it's not physical. what his mother told him, running away with his brother, and taking on the responsibilities of an adult with a child....it was bound to traumatize and cause some serious mental health issues for him, that have been reinforced for decades. i think it's funny everyone just kinda laughed off moon young for her terrible and manipulative behavior, but gang tae gets no breaks when it comes to him acting out. it's kind of sad, tbh. i also think he is constantly lying to his brother because that's what he has always done for a majority of his life. he told moon young, he always has to fake a smile in order to appease his brother. i can only imagine how quickly he came to realize, as a child, that some truths would probably send sang tae over the edge. lying became another coping mechanism for him, and that isn't easy to break free from, even as an adult and knowing it's wrong. i also don't agree with him telling sang tae that he belongs to him, but again he has only had his older brother for most of his life and it is probably terrifying thinking of a life without him and the possibility of his brother being so upset with him that he leaves him, the same way his mom did. his childhood was not good. it's just going to take extra time to come to terms with it. i also think that's why moon young has approached this the way she has. she understands the trauma that can carry on from childhood, having been there herself (and while on the mend, still a lot of healing to be done), and is trying to help gang tae to break free from his leash as well. she had gang tae to help her. he needs someone else who is mentally stable to help him. i think that's why it's so good he has juri's mom and the hospital head there. both are intelligent and comforting people, and the dr specializes in trauma patients. he needs that. our girl is trying her best to help but she's also still struggling with her own stuff and i agree that they both need to give eachother grace when it comes to that.

1:18:35 Sheera believing in the "if theres a hole theres a way" a lil too much XD

Shakir Fo

The bloopers for this show are really good. But yeah, we're never escaping the Baek Hee-sung "Omma"🤣🤣🤣 Probably in my Top 3 k drama (Flower of Evil)

Dyastro

So Sheera can suggest brother on brother love, but roshi can't make his case on snagging the grandmother in law in the name of charity!? We demand justice!

Dyastro

I think it's either a troll or plastic surgery. South Korea is well known for having good plastic surgery.

Shakir Fo

Hope they get to react to "Crash landing on you" sometime after this series.

Runawayjinx

I mean he did ask her if he could ask a selfish request at the hospital when sang-tae was leaving with Ms.Kang but he was probably trying to indirectly have them hash there beef out if possible

Sayyongtou

i mean there are ways to change a person appearance is there not? her mom is smart enough to disguise herself so that she wouldn't be found out.

JohnnySmoke

If you guys ever want a korean movie to watch yall should watch Midnight Runners lol

Vanessa

please react to the behind the scenes i think they are really funny at the end

hyakimaru dono

It was plastic surgery. They hinted at it within some of the earlier eps and mention it in this ep very briefly that ur mind doesn't go to it.

Nick

Moon gang tae still going crazy today with the acting in Queen of Tears

Celine

IOTNBO is one of my fave kdramas but the mom storyline has so many plot holes 😭

J Man

I kinda agree even though I think the payoff is fun. They probably just tried to stuff too many KDrama tropes all at once, even going the evil in-law ish route

AllanJ

Gang-tae’s character is so tragic because even though he seems okay and the most composed compared to Sang-tae and Ko Moon-young, he’s just as broken as them or even worse. Being the sole family, friend, and caretaker of his brother from when they were kids to their 30s, creates a severe level of codependency. This is the first time in his life he’s thought about himself for once and he literally just doesn’t know how to navigate it properly unfortunately. In many ways, he’s still just a little kid.

Wafaa

Gang-tae’s actor is the highest paid actor is SK, he has to cry for real 😂😂

Laylay

Would love for yall to watch queen of tears.

raeven b.

And that boi knows he can cry too! Man, I think he’s the best crier in the game. I break every time those tears start falling. He’s too good at it.

sabrina

Queen of tears nextttt

Marlia

Still hoping for Moving.

Taz388433

Queen of tears next please!!

Yolo Samurai

Well, you have to remember she she was really young and hasn't seen her mother in years. Also, a lot of those memories are suppressed, so she could not remember what her mom looks like and it would make sense.

Snax

is there something at the end of every episode? im only aware of the bluebeard skit

AnnaSama

I guess, if I BELIEVED my parent was dead, and nobody had seen them for twenty years...

Abhideep Sinha

They literally spelled it out that he sent her there in hopes of them reconciling Roshi, you misinterpreted it

Bria A.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on the case), the eleventh hour semi-random kdrama plot twist is always gonna be a thing lmao But to answer your question: plastic surgery. They implied it the last time Munyeong thought the other patient might be her mom.

Ethan Vinson

damn it this show keeps making a real nigga tear up lol.

Sasha

Respect for Kim Soo-hyun🫡

Sasha

Welcome to Waikiki next. Or at least sometime please. There is definitely a reference to that show in this episode but no spoilers🤫
