This is interesting because we never really got an emo archetype for a main character. Ichikawa probably has these fantasies in his head of killing but realistically he's never going to go through with it, he's basically an emo chuunibyou. Yamada is the type to go along with her feelings no matter the situation, one minute she can be sad and the next minute she can be as happy as can be.
