Love how she just explained how veldora got sealed to the audience by telling hina how the hero sealed him was literally because of veldora himself just using his own power against him as a cage which makes sense why he couldn’t break out the barrier it was literally like fighting himself & she just said nothing works on him that’s funny a pissed off veldora basically hoed himself 😂😭

I know there's a lot a people who probably didn't like this episode: minimal action, no Rimuru and the squad... This episode feels like window dressing for everything else we may get this season. Also, notice all these factions are wanting to jump but nobody want the smoke with slime right now. Though it does seem Valentine has more contention with Veldora than anything else. Loved the world building we got this episode.

The king literally just told his brother "Edward" that he will abdicate the throne and his son won't be next in line. Edward will obviously be the next king so he's just happy that he finally got his chance to be king, we obviously know what will happen if he acts up against Rimuru though lol. Also from the conversation with Luminus, it seems that "angels" attack when a civilisation gets too advanced so that's probably why they're trying to get in Rimuru's way. I'm assuming the easter merchant is the guy who is trying to take over the world with the clowns but I'm not sure. That's all I gathered from this episode.

She's not delusional though, just ignorant. Luminous is the strongest being she encountered by far, that's her idea of the strongest. No one ever told her differently... until now. And even now they didn't straight up say that Veldora is far more powerful than Luminous (and I think Rimuru at this point is probably of comparable strength to Luminous, if not slightly stronger). Well, looking at the other demon lords... Rimuru is probably top 5-6. But since it's not even remotely near the end of the story yet, there's probably no shortage of beings that are still currently out of Rimuru's league who aren't demon lords (like among the angels). I don't think it'll end before Milim gets a good fight that requires her to go all in to win.

Well, Slime's a lot of world building. And they turned that way up starting in season 2 (and even skimmed past quite a bit from what I read). It's pretty amazing if you binge, but watching week to week can be frustrating. Like season 2's 2nd half where at the end of an episode they're about to start a meeting... then by the end of the next episode they're about to start that same meeting again.

Rimuru could prolly win, because he has the cheat of 4x Ultimate Skills (1 Sin Series, 2 Virtue Series, 1 non-series (Lord of Storms, Veldora)), one of which is literal AI skill that can minmax munchkin all of his shit to acoustic levels that no actual fr fr person could ever do themselves, unless they are one of those giga brain once a millennium geniuses

She is SEVERELY underestimating the difference in power between Rimuru and Veldora. Veldora is like an ocean of power and Rimuru is like......a small lake by comparison. She's an idiot

World building is 100% necessarily for a show to have good foundation and riches in lore but these political $hits has me yawning the entire episode.

i think in the LN and manga at this point it's explained a little what the angels are, but yeah maybe they'll explain it more later in the anime (though i doubt it, they skip so much lore cause of time constraints)

I think the reason Hinata feels like she could take Veldora is because it was a human who defeated him the first time around, so it's not like it's unthinkable (in her mind). But that was an incredibly rare situation. That human was a 'yuusha' (which are as special as demon lords according to Milim) and since then Veldora got stronger (ultimate skill and whatnot)

Nah, Rimuru doesn't come close to Veldora. Even awakened, he had a very hard time keeping with Milim who was essentially just playing around. Meanwhile when Veldora came, she started to unleash a lot more power (but it was still playing around, for both her and Veldora). The only demon lords capable of competing with Veldora are Milim and Red.
