Yel

LelaniG

Got the Takemitchy/Deku/Zenitsu of the group

GoldenBoy

I was sitting through the first and second ep of this show and was wondering wtf this shit reminds me of and randomly this is literally Beelzebub 😭 at least the the beginning arcs of Beelzebub and I'm with it

Hasnain Khan

Yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Shiroja

I also only learned about the coffee thing when I saw this episode.

HIM

Wow... that's gotta be the worst group in anime history. (Imaging those 3 in a Weak Hero Class setting, no powers, no swords 🤣)

Fuji

im putting my stocks into takemichi he gon turn up and be a problem.

Trey Milliner-Williams

its crazy how much the hype for this show died down after the first episode on socials. Which is sad cause the show isnt bad but people were mad hyping it because of their dislike of Tokyo Revengers

Aniki Pft

Bro is more Zenitsu than anything, and that ain't all bad imo.

Trey Milliner-Williams

it is pretty objective to say the hype on social media (which is what I was talking about) died down compared to the first episode where it was trending and everyone was talking about it for pretty much that entire day.

hyakimaru dono

I get what u mean actually but I think the hype died down because there isn't much content for edits lol. All the hype I saw was mainly thirst traps and a couple bits from the intro. So I would say by ep 5 it should pick back up decently

Aniki Pft

@Trey Milliner-Williams I get what you're saying but what? I would understand if the show had a couple of more episodes out and it's popularity shimmered but again we barely have anything lmao. To say its hype died down after just another episode; TWO mind you is crazy.

Trey Milliner-Williams

ok lets look at it like this using another show X-men 97. The show from the first 2 episodes to the next week continued to trend and grew in hype. where as this show from the first episode to this one the conversation died down not many peole are talking about it when like 4 new characters are introduced and more characterization is explored. Thats all im talking about its just an observation that between the first and second episode the conversation around the series has noticeably died down. Which I brought up Tokyo Revengers because it feels like people only talked about this series to trash on Revengers which i dislike because imo this show is good enough to stand on its on feet.

Aniki Pft

@Trey Milliner-Williams Using X-men 97 as an example is strange considering how widely known X-men media is. It's been around since I was a little ass boy. All I'm saying is, it isn't a concern. I'm sure if Wind Breaker keeps a good pace and do well it'll garner its attention. And it being compared to TK is inevitable since the vibes are practically the same. Like I said before if the show's been around for 5 weeks or more I would agree with what you mean. Good first episode, nothing crazy has happened and it's been TWO WEEKS lol.

Vincent S Deluca

Great Value Takemichi already better than the original

_monjiro

Cant wait until the next epsiode of My Hero Suburbia

Aniki Pft

@Trey Milliner-Williams I'm also not sure if the other comment was directed towards me, but I never said or implied you called it trash.

Trey Milliner-Williams

it wasnt there was someone named A that said something along the lines of "This is like if I called AOT trash after 2 weeks" so I replied that i didnt call it trash. but i guess they just deleted the comment instead of recognizing they were wrong lol

Dyastro

You never had an egg sandwich? Yall missing out in life!

ZandyBoi

I hope the Honki Person meme never dies xD

Lightbane1905

The seeds of the fruit are what we use for coffee. Extracting them and then roasting them is how we make them ready to be ground and used. In Thailand they use an animal known as a luwak to get the best ones.

KeYo

roshi talking about food crimes when he eats hot cereal. huh? lol lets not bring up what people here in america be eating too lol

Bria A.

I’m confused about the sandwich being labeled food crimes…like I don’t tend to do it personally, but lettuce on an egg salad sandwich is very normal 😭 Also the fruit wasn’t in the sandwich, it was just something to eat on the side lmao

dawn

literally got mikey baji and takemichi this ep

Sha

Dude got Takemichi'ed

Daryl Hudson

That boy Deku done made it into another series

DIOR

show good just dont need to turn into some fujo shit

V

damn HAHAHA Roshi a cereal killer for real

Mellow Cho

im just so glad the Mc isnt another takemitchy or buchigiri

Dark Shogun

Knowing someone's height and weight is good for poisoning. That way you can give them the right amount. Like how anesthesiologist need that information when putting a person under for surgery.

HIM

War crimes have been committed! 😭 Sakura having the same VA as Kawaki (Boruto) is just FOUL. How am I ever supposed to tell them apart? 🤣

Kareem Davis

So we found our Takemichi! Hope he bosses up soon...

LiquidXGravity

Yall really got to check out Beelzebub

Ren Lichtfoot

Its good, but I feel like it's a disappointment. No point in introducing them to a decent show when it's never going to be completed!

Victor

Yeah I was confused about that too. Two delicious egg sandwiches and some oranges and strawberries after that? Delicious. The food crime should be heating milk for cereal lol

Victor

I mean people got to have patience for every show they watch. Losing the hype after 2 episodes? Few anime has much hype in the beginning and many of them starts slowly and pick up the pace later. And Wind Breaker does not have a slow pace either, they had a few fights already after only 2 episodes.

HIM

Now this is for my animation geeks and nerds, much like myself: I did a lot of digging, and found some cool info on the main players in the production of Wind Breaker. 1. The 3 guys most important to this production are Toshifumi Akai(Show Director), Taishi Kawakami (Cheif animation director), and Kazuyuki Asaka (Action director). Studying these 3 men, I found they've all worked together before on 2 separate projects: Fate/Grand Order and The Idolm@ster. 2. For our Director, I mentioned in another comment that Toshifumi Akai started with Cloverworks (production company) from the start with Darling in the Franxxx. Well, before that, in 2011, he started his biggest project with the anime adaptation of the video game The Idolm@ster. It's been a fairly huge success, considering all the money they've made off the franchise as a whole, with the anime supplying most of the still-relevant content. Either way, this man has TONS of experience running a show from the ground up, as he's mainly worked on original projects, or projects that don't already come with a script ready to go (Like manga adaptations). When Cloverworks started, Akai got to work directly under a Legend at TRIGGER, picking up whatever he could learn. The next year, he would lead the production of Fate/Grand Order, which included writing the story, coming up with the characters, designing most of them, and then of course, creating the screenplay for the animators to execute, amongst other things. After the disappointment of yet another show lead by Sunghoo Park, I'm paying attention to directors and producers now lol. Keep an eye on Toshifumi Akai. He's doing GREAT work to date. (Not the best writer or story teller, though. That's why THIS is great. He didn't have to write the story this time lol) 3. Taishi Kawakami is actually a GENIUS. At least, his eye for cinematic angles within Art, and his ability to give you a very different feel with his animations ARE. This man has a smaller track record than the other 2 and has lead very few projects of his own (he's lead on a few EDs). However, when you look at his MOST prominent work, you can point to Episode 18 of Fate GO, that CRAZY Queztalcoatl fight was a lot of his work and the angles and camera work carry over to everything he's touched. I say, he's your BIG epic moments guy. He has a very unique way of "positioning the camera" in all of his shots. He ended being the Cheif animation director, mainly because his overall vision is just superior to a lot of people in the industry. 4. Last but not least, Kazuyuki Asaka might be my favorite in the group. I know SEVERAL people have been clamoring for the YBR gang to react to "Your Lie in April"... Well, here's the guy that lead the animation production in that whole show. He was the Animation director for the first OP, the piano/violin scene, and 17 episodes in total. He was a Key Animator on the other episodes he didn't direct. He was also apart of Fate GO, key animating for episodes 15-16. And for fun, I'll add he was key animator for Episodes 1 of Chainsaw man, as well as episode 11 of the last season of Demon Slayer 😁 He might be my favorite, simply thanks to his approach to animation. He's amazing consistent at making sure every scene breathes and has flowing movement. Even the still shots that just pan slowly to a side, he manages to always had hair blowing, or debris falling around through the scene. Subtle, but that's his specialty: Subtlety. Kawakami is the big extravagant over the top guy, while Asaka handles the smaller moments with the same amount of love. Smooth, flowing animation that is short and quick to the point. Almost how Sunghoo Park likes that lighting fast blurs and scribbles style of drawing action scenes, but you could see in episode 1 that Akasa doesn't compromise the quality of the art. It's always smooth and snappy, with no gaps in the flow of motion either. He's done great work as well. Your Lie in April is 10 years old, but still has magic to it's animation that really showcases what this man is good at. Watch Your Lie in April. For the culture 😉 lol

Toria

This show moreeeee give HIGHT & LOW the worst vibes

Xavier Dennis

Yo lupa needing to know the height and weight is kinda of off the wall but why the hell he need the blood type tho?!?

HIM

Lol loved reading this whole section, idk why 🤣 But yeah, chief, to everyone's point, including yours, ONE thing needs to be kept in mind. I liked the Xmen 97 example, because there's an obvious difference. Episode 1 AND 2 came out, creating more hype for Xmen, and THEN episode 3 was actually better than the first two episodes. So yeah, the hype was there for wayyy more reasons, which is part of your point. As for WB, it's definitely building off of it's predecessors, and you also stated that. To me, a better example of this show's appeal would be with God of Highschool and manwha in general. The first manwha turned into a big time anime sucked, but it was opening the door for a new genre going forward. Tokyo Revengers kinda did the same for the delinquent anime we're starting to see more of now. It socks for various reasons, but people bought into the idea of watching delinquent anime, so now new shows can debut to an audience that is thirty for more. THAT'S why episode 1 had the hype, along with the surprisingly clean animation. Kinda like Heavenly Delusion, which had similar hype at first, despite coming out of nowhere and being a Hulu exclusive. Aight, Chief. I just wanted to add my 2 cents to the pot.

Passion

That's Oya High right there not Furin

roshi_wig

Kumi Chan

Bruh where are the fucking teachers lmao. Got graffiti on literally every wall of the school. The town and school being run by students is actually insane. What if the cops were there two years ago but seen the students doing better work than them so the cops jus straight up quit and said "yall got it" 💀💀

john segun doe

Naah u know they watch WATCH anime like that when they classify a character using the term Chunibyo. Wow. I literally had to look that up lol
