Kumi Chan

This show started out as fun and happy, but this season is dark for no reason 😢

DIOR

😂 nigga spent 3 seasons killing everybody and they momma but now it’s dark?!

Hasnain Khan

Yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Garion pope

Hearing Bill Burr as one of the pod castors is amazing lol

Metweet .c

Whole bill burr cameo as one of the podcasts lol

bleach

Can't wait for you guys to see the end

Andrea Royal

Guys, I think that was Bevel in the house. That truck was pulling their house. Sally is still traumatized by the guy she killed and he always comes back in her mind. This show is so masterfully written! Great reaction by the way!!!

Danny

I love that Sheera is a ride or die for Cristobal. He's my favorite character.

Frederick

Bro at this point I’m just gonna let them cook cause this is too good.

John Cedar

I agree with Lupa 100% on what happened with Sally. What we were seeing was a manifestation of Sally finally having a psychotic break. Everything that happened to the house was her freaking out in her delusion. It's so, so lucky that the gun wasn't loaded, because she pulled the trigger like 4 or 5 times. She could've easily shot John through the door if it was loaded.

Ben

Yeah I think Sally being a bit drunk and still prolly dealing with PTSD from the biker, was her panicking and imagining him talking behind the door but him in the house and the car hitting it was real. Then again, I could totally believe this is an “up to the viewers interpretation” situation.

Beckett Cullen

Love the Bill Burr cameo as the unhinged podcaster lmao

Cassie

Since we are getting to see what everyone has been up to for 8 years, I'm dying to see what Ronnie's daughter is up to ( pickle 🤣🤣).

Psi47

Hank isnt denying the truth because he doesn't want the information out (literally everyone already knows, its because HE doesn't want to admit he killed the love of his life or had any involvement in his death. It doesn't matter who knows he did it, because Hank has gotten people killed plenty of times already {literally tried killing Barry in the first episode and again in S2 when he didnt do anything to Hank}. The problem is Hanks own self acceptance of the choices he's made, hence why he went out of his way to name the company after Cristobal and build a statue of him in his memory in addition to whatever narrative he's trying to spin about Cristobal to other people

A.I.

Sheera is the ultimate mob wife 🤣

Smash Bran'Discootch

You...literally saw a pickup truck slam into the side of the house and knock it up on its side for a second. How--you know what; fuck it. Sure, Sally did it. Just like the viewer was supposed to think that the previous episode was "supposed to trick the viewer" despite nothing about it adhering to any of the previous hallucinations. Sure.

Aery

I underestimated Jim. Did not expect him to get Barry into that garage 😂

Culdesac Jadoni

Bevel and his brother actually wrecked the house. Sally’s PTSD was triggered when hearing the door slam so you heard the biker who she killed. This goes back to the whole “I feel safe with you” line. Without Barry there, Sally’s mind is going to the worst because she feels like there’s no one there to protect her. I think it was a perfect way of blending the aftermath of the Bevel thing with a depiction of her mental state atm.

Anorak

Naw the coworker did come and trash the house. Sally just started hearing what Pedro had said after she stabbed him because of PTSD

Grimm

Hank is in denial that he got Cristobal killed that's why he got upset.

Helpy

Are you okay? You really just trust anything that's shown as a visual? It could very well be a dream or any of the typical Barry shenanigans to misdirect the viewer. Why are you acting weird about that one moment bro chill. The chick just gave her child alcohol, it's not wild to think she messed the house up in a drunken stupor.

Helpy

My boy is learning about tone today! Yes he was killing people in very comedic ways and now it's intentionally made to be darker and more sinister...

Helpy

That line Sally heard when the door slammed: "Wtf did you put in my eye?", I'm sure the guy she killed was saying that when she stabbed him through the back of the head...odd

rickie woodson

drunk sally. drunk fuches. im sensing a theme here

Kreative

Sheera reaching at the end. Hank had a choice, he chose to be deceitful

John Cedar

No dude, you're wrong lol. Because you've been so fucking smug in the comments, I decided to find out. I thought the scene was supposed to be open to interpretation, but since you seem to be utterly allergic to recognizing when this show is trying to do so, I tried to find any evidence of authorial intent in the scene. And in an interview with actress for Sally in Rolling Stone, she literally says it was up to interpretation. Here is one of her answers to if the scene was real or not, feel free to find the article in 5 seconds if you want "I think that the ambiguity is great. And I think that there doesn’t have to be a right answer. And I think the audience can take what they want from it. I mean, there’s a world where Bevel is showing up and taunting her in some way, but I think she, at that point, has completely lost her mind. And she’s very drunk and not sleeping and very afraid. We shot the wheel crashing through the wall and there was also a shot when you pan back quickly, and as she’s exiting the bedroom, the wall is smooth. Now I don’t know if they kept that in the final edit, because that’s concrete evidence that it wasn’t real." [Editor’s Note: That shot wasn’t in the final cut.] There's even more about it if you wanna read. Feel free to critically examine how you talk to others in such antagonistic and absolutist ways about film making that is clearly absurdist and open to interpretation at times. I would not bother with this at all if you simply had the opinion that the couch was wrong and the events actually happened. What's annoying is how smug you are.

John Cedar

Nope, I prefer to actually look at film making intent and maybe authorial intent if I'm confused about a scene. I don't look to YouTube explainers or a wiki summary for plot themes like you clearly do. Feel free to read my reply to your comment about why you are so utterly wrong about this scene in particular. Can't get better than the literal actress who played the character contradicting everything you say. Article is on Rolling Stone: "Sarah Goldberg’s ‘Barry’ Exit Interview: Sally’s Finale Secrets and More". You are a clown.

Fred_D3

You could never make me hate Fuches 😂 that guy is fake it till you make it personified

Smash Bran'Discootch

You know what? I was nice to you in your dumbass comment but since you decided to be a cunt READ A FUCKING EPISODE SYNOPSIS! Or better yet, stop being a dumbass. But you can't do that, so instead watch the episodes. You're wrong and fuckin stupid. You literally watched a truck slam into the side of the house.

Smash Bran'Discootch

EXACTLY! FINALLY someone who isn't a complete dumbass and actually understands the thing they're watching.

John Cedar

Let it be heard that the fucking weirdo with the avatar that looks like a 5 year old drew it with crayon that's been smug in these comments for the past couple episodes was trying to tell me how to interpret a scene and then deleted all his comments, like a bitch.

Marquist Simms

A lof of the subtle jokes in this show flies over their heads lol

Delinda Arts

i love how they can't discern reality from delusion (which I think is intentional) bc literally all of the characters are clapped mentally.

DIOR

So because yall were laughing, that mean it ain't dark? Maybe you're just a sick fuck? Either way, show been dark, tone been dark, call it dark comedy, dark humor, don't give a fuck.

Jake Coulter

Love the Bill Burr cameo when Barry was listening to the podcast 😂

DIOR

Dude go take your fucking meds, the shit was clearly meant to be left to viewers interpretation but it's obviously a fake/hallucination. You trying too hard to be the smart one.

Aaron Gauntt

all the whacky shinannagins in this show and the most unrealistic part is him walking into a store, buying a gun, and being able to take it home the same day in Cali.

Kingmakaii

He actually didn’t it was either you do this or you die with them that’s not a choice bro 😭

Yoruka

Funny enough the podcast that validated him was Bill Burr cameo

drake is cleverer than kendrick headass

Bruv he killed his best friend in season 1 whilst he begged and pleaded with him to let him live, and that he would keep his secret. It's been dark since that moment idk like you dummies have been watching a different show. There have been dozens of moments where the comedic theme drops to candid realism as the horror of events is left to sit in a moment - guess yall had your eyes closed or something.

Renni .

naw hanks hands are not clean

Taiwo Aileru

Btw when Sally lost her mind on the phone call, the son definitely knows now that she isn't Emily and his "Clark" is Barry.

NovaVortex

Jim has got to be an Olympic gold medalist in mind games cause the mental gymnastics is crazy lol

yaboyroshi

yeah and we also saw a man DISAPPEAR once he closed the door. I guess hes also a magician. Idk how you only acknowledge seeing the truck but not seeing bro VANISH into thin air

Anorak

Yeah of course it’s been dark the whole time lmao, but it goes from a lot of goofy ass violence with some heaviness sprinkled in to a lot of heaviness with some comedy sprinkled in. There’s a clear change in tone (which I’m a fan of, don’t get me wrong).

Tremaine

Sally never beatin the aint shit accusations and sally fans cant say otherwise

lyssa

None of them really deserve happy endings either

The thing that flows

One of my favorite visual gags. The store clerk with guns in the background then on the other side of the counter is Barry with teddy bears and kid stuff.

Fizzy

Thank you lol they think cause he is funny it gives him leeway

Fizzy

Everyone in this show sucks and I love it

Matt

Yeah we in the endgame y’all, just let them cook I promise 😭

max

the way that scene w sally is directed is so sick lol

Grelk

Thats WHY im her fan 😤😤 NEED me a dysfunctional alchy wife

Jurassic Jordan

Sally LITERALLY said "lets go" in the episode before last i dont know how yall thought it was fake

Mack

Barry listening to religious podcast and trying to find one that justifies murder one of the funniest things this season. A real deal lunatic lol

Mack

Also I disagree with Sheera. Hank was responsible for Cristobal’s death. Its his affiliation and his lifestyle and his ties to the Chechen mob that got Cristobal killed. No matter how much he didn’t want to do it, he’s responsible. And Fuches just wanted to poke at him by throwing that in his face.

Mack

I think even Bill Hader said that it was open for interpretation and he does not want to define scenes for the audience. He wants them to come to their own conclusions. Theres no wrong way to interpret that scene. Its why its made so ambiguous.

XJ.

I mean it IS a choice though. He could've chosen to go to the police (eventhough it's unlikely) or choose to go on the run or choose to put together an army like he did before or come up with a plan to kill the Chechans. He's been in situations like that in the show already, where he ended up surviving when his superiors or someone else ended up getting murked.

Da$H IX

At this point there is no one I like in the show anymore. But it's chaos and I like it.

funkymew

thats the whole point rn. everyone is shit. idk why yall gotta just point HER out lol

James Bryant

is it just me or did I know for certain that it was a time skip even on first watch?

mint_f

I read this high and thought it made perfect sense dw bro

Tremaine

It’s cause she been trash from the beginning and literally never made progress in bettering herself she’s an opportunist

lDieTrying

Yo the dudes who picked up Fuches are the same ones from the beginning of his prison sentence

lDieTrying

The whole Sally thing, it makes me feel like it's directly about her inner torment about her toxic relationships and fear of violent men.

Ryan NYC

I figured it was a time skip because how would Barry know about the conversations Sally had with other people while she’s not there

Leo

While I kinda of agree with sheera some at the end of the day it was a choice hank could have told him and maybe they could have devise a plan to backstab Goran and the chechens and if it didn't work out then they would at least die together but instead he's successful but probably super depressed despite appearances.

Leo

Love the shows music choices in this show black sabbath is goated also what the hell they got bill burr in here when I heard his voice it was instantly recognizable.
