Square Holes!

Making a square broach for the rotary broach could only mean one thing ... or could it?! ----- Music: Chances - Silent Partner

Should have stuck with the 3% (or even 5%) oversized pre-drilling. WTF is a letter N drill? At least in the metric world they don't use such meaningless notation for drill bits. If you want 5% over 7.0 mm you multiply 7.0 × 1.05 to get 7.35 (which you don't have in your indexer) so you use 7.4 (or 7.3 if you feel adventurous).

Letter N drill is 0.302 inch, or 7.67mm. There is a whole slew of letter drills out there, A-Z. also there is gauge drills from 1 (0.228) all the way to 104 (0.0031).

I'm 8 years old, so I'll make some snarky, indignant crack about the time you posted here vs. the time you put this on YouTube. Because...y'know...that's what's important to us 8-year-olds. And Mom might find the PATREON BILLING entry on her credit card statement at any time...and I'd get grounded for using her card, again.

Was that bending jig a base for a LDS shaker?

Letter drills are great! Gives you an extra 1/4" drill (E) or is the 1/4 a spare E??
