State of the Account Address (Patreon)

(This sounds much more serious than it is but I want to keep you all in the loop, since you have invested in me)

I owe quite a bit of you newbies your personalized doodle and I plan on tackling that tomorrow, so please expect seeing that soon. I’m sorry it’s taken so long.

Instagram being my biggest platform for engagement has done me in for a loop lately. I’ve had periods of stagnation but this one is particularly bad and with comics being my only gig now, I’m nervous. I’m not the only artist to face this which helps but also not really. IG has severely pushed for reels and unless someone has over a certain amount of follows, it hurts our account to post anything otherwise. I’m also not one to post a still image to trending music for views . I’m not half-assing my hard work.

I’ve been messing with animations and more intricate still frame comics. However, trying to keep up with my usually schedule of 5 new posts a week has been incredibly difficult. So- I’m working on something to appease the algorithm overlords while balancing everything else.

If you all have any feedback on what time you scroll through the app, if you check out stories, or anything I can do to get your attention, I’d be happy to hear it. I post on all other major platforms but my reach is significantly smaller so I’d like to persevere this while I work on growing the others.
