Animal Place! (Patreon)

Hello Beastlings! How are you doing! A quick check-in from me:

I recently visited Animal Place to meet some of the over 400 rescued animals they care for! A truly amazing experience!

This little hen I'm holding was super talkative and immediately flew up into my arms because she is super sociable and loves to snuggle! I'm not even kidding!

I also learned that turkeys can retract and relax their snoods (that dangly thing on their heads) and their faces change colours like a mood ring! Bright blue, pink and red!

The sanctuary focuses on education all while allowing visitors to connect with individual animals - hopefully to leave a lasting impression that will inspire a cruelty-free lifestyle change.

Pigs have such funny personalities. And they are very rough to the touch! Their noses are super strong and muscular digging tools, though!

Cows are actually a lot softer - some are super fluffy!

This rescued cow is over 20 years old and she gave birth right after being rescued. Her calf lives by her side and nurses freely - such a happy sight!

This goat, Bella, absolutely demanded that I pluck some oak leaves for her to munch on!

And this sleepy lady got a tag-team belly rub from Doyle and I! 😻

I hope you enjoy some of these shots of us hanging with these cutie pies! I also shot photos of In This Moment and the Misfits at Aftershock Festival - it was my first concert since 2019 and it was AMAZING!!!!
