Hello Beastlings!

Trees.

As you know, by being a part of this community you are actively planting a tree every month!
So every once in a while I will give you updates!

Why is a tree a big deal? Well it is more than a tree.

Obviously we all know the impact that trees have on our air and soil quality, that they are homes for wildlife and that they play a crucial role in almost every ecosystem on Earth. But in this system, trees are also helping impoverished families earn a sustainable, ethical living. Trees for the Future educates and trains families to build Forest Gardens; a well designed system where larger trees form a living fence, crops are planted to be sustainable for the soil and not only can the farmers feed themselves, they can sell the produce and feed others.

Bean.

We have also been gifted the adoption of Bean, the sloth-bear. He loves his warm porridge and consumes up to 1.2 kilograms of fruit a day; watermelon, papaya, chickoo and apples, to name a few. I think we have the same diet! 😂

Princess Pomegranate and Peapod.

These residents of Rancho Relaxo also have all their care costs covered by us, every month! Pompom was suffering as a victim of lab testing before she was rescued. When I met her in person I couldn't believe how loving and curious she was!
