Check this out!

I just got my hands on a brand new airbrush!

Isn't she beautiful?!

I got a whole bunch of supplies. This is going to be incredibly useful in so many ways!

I am planning on making a lot more of my stage outfits by hand, myself, in the future, and when it comes to painting fabric there is really no substitute for airbrush. I have so many sketches of outfit ideas that I just could not make happen up until now. Fun fact: The outfit I am wearing in The Eagle Flies Alone music video was so thick with paint that I could not ever wear it on stage. My skin was completely red and swollen after that video shoot! Airbrushing atomizes the pigment in such a way that it does not dramatically alter the feel of the fabric when painting, so it should be a game changer, moving forward.

Not only that, airbrushing is useful to create artwork as well. I used to enjoy playing with greyscale portraits on coloured paper, using a pencil to create the light values and then adding in subtle washes of colour using an airbrush. It is a really cool effect! You can add layer upon layer of colour without disturbing your line work. Not to mention you can customize objects with an airbrush too. There really is no substitute!

Hope you all had an amazing Halloweekend and thank you for being here!
