Here she is! Charlotte Wessels and I present: Lizzie!

This music video was so extremely satisfying to make for me. As many of you probably know, the art of the music video is one of my favourite things about being a musician. I love the crossover of eyes and ears and the concept of turning what we hear into something we can see. I took every instrument, mood, moment and lyric of the song into consideration when editing together this video. 

I even picture music videos when writing and recording songs and lyrics. I have a lot of treatments that never saw the light of day! Completing Lizzie has inspired me anew that maybe they will eventually. This was all filmed in our respective homes - in my case without even one other human being around, so it was definitely covid-safe and I am extremely proud of the result! Happy to have you all here to share it!

I've been just so motivated by this collaboration and song and I really hope you like the video! There are so many visual metaphors here - I will record a video walking you all through my process so that you get a closer look and deeper understanding!
