Is it weird that I REMEMBER doing this? As we've discussed, memory is a fickle friend and it is very possible I am just forming what my brain is recognizing as a long-term memory from the simple act of viewing my younger self in this clip. I feel like I really remember these moments though! 

And if you're wondering why I'm looking off to the side, I'm fairly certain it is because my very crafty and inventive father hooked up our TV to be a sort of real-time monitor for the camera that was filming me. If you look closely, he also "made" this microphone and it is inputting directly into the camera (with pretty good sound quality, if I may add!). 

They say humans only start to recognize ourselves in the mirror after age 2 (some animals, like dolphins, also recognize themselves), and I was just under the age of 2 here but to me it really seems like I'm seeing myself in the monitor.
