This is my go-to breakfast, people! I don't follow a specific recipe but here's what it is:

This makes 4 servings:


4 Tablespoons chia seeds

1 cup coconut cream

1 cup boiling water


Mix those together and let that sit in the fridge for a while. I make a batch for the week and keep it in the fridge.

Then throw your favourite fruits and nuts on top!

I love putting mango, raspberries and cinnamon. I also roasted some pecans, pistachios and coconut flakes and put those on top too. I also happened to randomly get a starfruit so there it is!

If you have never had apple butter... you must. I don't know how this isn't the most popular thing on Earth. Not apple sauce, not apple jam - apple butter. That's what that brown stuff is. You need to have it. So delicious.

Macros per serving (approximate calculations):

Calories: 340

Fat: 24g

Carbs: 26g

Fiber: 11g

Protein: 7.5g


It's delicious and contains a wealth of vitamins and minerals too.
I'm not a certified nutritionist obviously but it is a passion of mine (and I did study it for 2 years in University). So please make sure this meal is suitable for you if you have particular dietary needs :)
