life hack: just draw lines for wings and connect them 

i just realized it looks like ho-oh is missing a body .. he isn't, it was originally drawn on a darker background. i promise the body is there skgkgk

life hack 2: thick block shapes also work as a wing base, just draw over the edges and just 2 colours so you don't forget where the feathers overlap 

did the same process to the tail but i didn't record that part ... anyway life hack 3: for darker colours like the feet you can totally just erase the outline or colour it 

other stuff: because the light source  focuses on ho-ohs body and tail the wings hue shift from green to yellow. yellow is a brighter colour so even tho it's the same saturation it just looks brighter
