Romanced!Ros + Romanced!Halek's reaction if they try to kiss tall!MC and MC stands up straight to the point where Ro can't reach without having to stand on their tiptoes.

This was already asked and answered in July's Q&A.  Halek would be downright shocked to be dating someone taller than him!

How would the Romanced!Ros react if MC was injured but kept trying to work anyway.

This was pretty much already asked and answered in August's Q&A.

How does Shery feel about doing Chase's reports?

Honestly, Shery really likes doing paperwork and reports, so she doesn't mind it, especially because Chase showers her with gifts and bribes... The only thing that's frustrating is that he always embellishes or gets distracted while dictating, so it can be hard to pry a truthful report out of him!

How would Blade have reacted if on the first day off MC was able to beat him when they sparred.

He would have been extremely impressed and would have felt it was the right decision to recruit MC, but it wouldn't have been anything life-changing; people still beat him during sparring, including his brother and people like Briony, Chase, and Trouble! It's rare, but it can happen. He'd respect MC a lot for doing it on the first try, though!

Do wheelchairs exist in Blest? Do people still have pets like cats, dogs, lizards and stuff or do they have more fantastical animals?

Yes, wheelchairs do exist in Blest, and they're actually quite advanced! Some are powered by Mage technology (sort of like a crystal battery) and are similar to being motorized!

Yes, people absolutely do keep regular pets like dogs, cats, lizards, birds, and even fish! Take for example Trouble's stray dog and etc.!

If the ROs (+ Halek and Croelle) were to be able to dream MC into the situation they thought would be perfect for MC, what would it be? (i.e. happily married and settled down in a little house with kids and a dog or happily skipping through worlds with the RO at their side, etc)

Hmm, good question!

Blade: I think part power-couple, part domestic-bliss would be his marital dream, like having a comfortable home to retreat to, possibly a stately house in the city, potentially with children, but also working together for a greater cause and having a busy professional life together (such as co-running the Shepherds, or working as diplomats, etc.) would be ideal!

Trouble: similar to Blade's, I think his ideal vision would be to be with MC while surrounded by all their friends--so staying Shepherds together and having a large found family/support network--but also having a house in the city with LOTS of kids running around and a dog! Also potentially living on a farm together, but that's literally a daydream and he knows he'd get bored of it after a while!

Tallys: her marriage fantasy is to have a little cottage in the forest with MC where their days are just spent gathering firewood for the evenings, composing poetry and reading by the lake, and making love in the candlelight!

Shery: I think her marriage fantasy would be to retire with MC to a peaceful, cozy little apartment in the city and have a few kids, and to spend their days raising their children and taking them on trips and having tea together in the afternoons and etc.!

Riel: his dream would be to run a business empire with MC and have MC involved in all of his merchant dealings and etc. lol! Or he'd be content with them staying in their expansive manor and pursuing leisurely hobbies and relaxing in the lap of luxury while he worked!

Red: his dream would be to travel all around the world with MC, taking in the sights together and experiencing all sorts of adventure. And, yes, being a pair of Mage spouses who walk the worlds together would be his dream! He wouldn't mind settling down, but that'd be his "fantasy."

Ayla: similar to Red, traveling all over with MC for a few years and taking in the sights would be her initial dream with MC. Then settling down somewhere--she doesn't care where--and having children would be her fantasy, potentially on a farm or homestead!

Briony: her fantasy would be to stay Shepherds with MC, buy a house in a neighborhood where all the other Shepherds live, have lots of dinner parties with their friends and then lots of intimate alone time with each other, and just keep going on missions together as a married couple, traveling on the road but also having a home to come back to!

Lavinet: I think her dream for MC would be to be that power couple in court, wheeling and dealing in the greater politics of Blest together and just striking fear into the hearts of all as Lady Naveen and the Hero of Haven. She'd want the evenings unwinding with her feet in MC's lap and a glass of wine in her hand by the fireplace, but primarily she'd want to be active with MC in their professional life!

Halek: His fantasy would be happily running a busy and successful restaurant with MC as the manager and himself as the chef and then having a quiet, tidy home to retreat to at night!

Croelle: I think he'd want to be a battle couple with MC, like spending your days in the heat of battle and splattered in the blood of your enemies and then like washing up in rivers and camping out in caves lol...

I'm curious about how things like financial assistance and unemployment work in Blest for people who need it.  Is there an assistance-type entity in Blest or is it based solely on neighbor helping neighbor? What happens to folks like Ebert when they have no means of support anymore?

Yes, there are financial assistance and unemployment programs run by the Autarchy (specifically by the Ministers of Commerce), and they're actually run quite efficiently! The most common method of getting food and housing when you're unable to find a steady job is by going to the workhouse, sometimes referred to as the poorhouse in smaller cities. Workhouses are government-run facilities that provide food and housing for residents who are put to work doing things like maintaining streets and roads, clearing cities of litter and garbage, building city and government sites and structures, and etc.

The food isn't great and neither is the housing, but it's a fairly well-run program for people who need the help. However, going to the "poorhouse" is spoken of very derogatively by most working-class people, so it's by no means a desirable thing to take advantage of, and there are even rumors of Diminished disappearing after they gain entrance to certain workhouses. But it's a last resort and it provides!

There are also Church-run charities, almshouses, and whatnot that provide for the needy, as well as non-Church-related charities as well (though these are much rarer). It's also known that if you're extremely sick, feeble, or hungry, many priories and nunneries and whatnot of the Church are devoted to providing shelter for the poor, with nuns sewing coats or making candles to distribute for free for many hours of every day!

Do you have an idea of what would be Croelle's Perfect Gift, were he an RO? And how does he handle an MC fully ready to publicly simp for him at every given opportunity? 😂

I sincerely do not know what Croelle would like as a gift, except maybe:

1) A new hat

2) Poison to apply to his sword

It is POTENTIALLY possible that he might appreciate being given a dog, preferably a hunting hound, but that really depends on where he is in life, lol. Otherwise I don't think material items faze him very much!

He'd be very uncomfortable with an MC who publicly simps for him and would probably avoid them, lol.

Hi Lena! I was curious what day-to-day life was like for Circle students? They’re at an illegal school and trying to keep hidden, but it seems like they might be a semi-open secret at Capra if the inkeeper knew about them?

Hi there, good question! Day-to-day life for Circle students was mostly pretty typical: imagine a boarding school where leaving the boundary of the school unsupervised was not only forbidden, but potentially life-threatening! But they all acclimated to the danger pretty quickly, since the wards protecting Solhadur were so strong that Inquisitors could walk right through the building and not see anything but an empty, derelict shell. The care had to come when students left the campus and went into Capra--they had to be careful not to be seen leaving the school--but once into Capra proper, things generally went pretty smoothly: Capra is a Mage city and its population is predominantly Mage, so students blended in very well and were never singled out.

The school isn't really a well-known secret in the city, but the staff at Solhadur have secured trustworthy connections among key vendors in Capra to procure the necessary food and supplies for their students. Steps have been taken to ensure these vendors don't let slip the secret to the wrong people, if they know it at all, but it's implied that the innkeeper (whose inn MC would have frequented if they were a student at the Veiled Circle) is one of these vendors. People probably suspect a Circle exists somewhere around the region--Capra and Caprona have deep roots in magic, after all--but, being mostly Mages, it would be a concept to silently support rather than condemn.

Otherwise, life in the Circle is fairly normal, other than the need for absolute secrecy when leaving the castle grounds. Students under fourth-year are not allowed to leave without supervision at all, actually, and breaks and return trips home are fairly restricted until the students are old enough to conceal themselves and their routes with magic. Older students can leave with signed permission from a teacher or the Archmage, but trips into town are still rare; Solhadur has basically everything a young Mage needs, so it's not really that restricted of a lifestyle!

Spoilers

what options will there be to deal with the autarchy, and will not picking a certain one lock us out of the “best ending”?

There are several different options about what to do with the Autarchy at the end of the game, including preserving its rule and order, keeping it but reforming its governmental structure and culture, tearing it down altogether and starting a new form of government (and which kind of government it is also varies), or going off on your own and not really dealing with the Autarchy at all. These endings heavily depend on the MC's choices and attitudes throughout the game and may not appear as a direct choice, depending on what endstate their game ends up in.

There is no "best ending" in my opinion when it comes to the state of the government; it's a much more complicated question because there are so many variables. You can pick the "best government" but still have lots of people dead, so it really just depends on your game's playthrough!

There are some worldstates, however, that some characters just won't abide by: Tallys, for example, won't tolerate a preserve-the-Autarchy ending, and Lavinet and Briony do not support certain endings (like Lavinet will never support a "kill the rich" worldstate). But there are also several endings where everyone is relatively happy with the outcome, so whether or not you get locked out of a "best ending" is sort of up to you!

Spoilers I'm sure haha: What are Lavinet's feelings on overthrowing the Autarchy vs reforming it after spending sometime with the Shpherds. I feel like reform would be her default choice, but can/does she get more radicalized depending on how things go?

Reform is Lavinet's first choice, but she can be "radicalized" depending on what overthrowing the Autarchy looks like. If it's like "kill all the Norm nobility," or "strip away any Norm's ability to be in government and make an all-Diminished oligarchy," she's never going to support something like that. But if it's like "the Autarch needs to go and a democratic state should be instated" or something like that, she'd come around to agree!

Hello Lena! I hope your Thanksgiving is a fun one. I wanted to ask in terms of gameplay, and assuming the goal is to get happy endings for all the characters (or at least, happy enough), is it better to resolve two or three characters storylines to completion, or do a few days off for each?

Hi Jazz, I hope your Thanksgiving is fun too! If your goal is happy enough for all characters, I'd definitely recommend spending time with all of them in an equal-ish distribution. You won't get a happy ending for someone if you don't spend at least a few days off with them. I'd say prioritize one or two to finish all the way to the end and then try to spend as much time as you can with everyone else in equal amount!

after the five faceless lords, what comes next??👀👀

At first, just regular Shepherd cases, like the Elementals and a serial killer... but if you think that defeating the Faceless Lords means you've seen the last of Tapyt, or the invasion prophesized in the Phantom Shore... you'd be wrong!

will we be able to have a rematch with blade and be able to beat him? Around what stats do you think we’d need for that/also how unbearably hot would he find it with a lady MC xD

You will have the opportunity to have a rematch with Blade and be able to beat him! Since he's not fighting earnestly, the stats you need to beat him will probably be around what you needed to fight Briony! He'd definitely find it very attractive, but I'll leave Blade!mancers to discover his true reaction on their own!

Hi Lena, hope all is well!  What are the reactions of the ROs (who weren't there) +Lavinet+Halek+Caine of MC giving the bandits 100 of their own deucalions and saving that village? I know the girls were pretty much like "wow the MC is a saint, I love them! lol.

Would be extremely approving/impressed by MC's generosity/would also think MC was a saint

Trouble

Caine

Shery

Would think MC's gesture was very kind and admirable, but would doubt it was very effective in solving the bandit problem on a deeper level

Lavinet

Riel

Red

"Oh, that's cool!" but wouldn't think too much more of it

Chase

Would be proud of MC but unsurprised

Blade

So instead of the attempt to flirt with Halek while MC was heading to the cave of many mouths, what if the MC was trying to flirt with Naolin instead? How would the twins react?

I think Naolin would be very confused and awkward if MC tried to flirt with him: he never gets flirted with in general, and MC doing it around his brother as well as his political leader would feel weird and unprofessional?? He'd mostly seem confused or just not respond to MC's flirtations, lol.

Halek would either be utterly indifferent or slightly jealous, like no one's ever ignored him in favor of Naolin, so he'd briefly be like, dafuq is this? Lol. But mostly I'd think he wouldn't care, since he doesn't have romantic feelings for MC.

NSFW

Of the female Ros, who would be down to peg M!MC and whos best to worst?

Tallys and Ayla are most down to peg M!MC. Briony would try it after much coaxing, but I don't think she'd be very into it and would only do it for her partner's pleasure. Lavinet would not want to do it at all, and Shery is a lesbian so yeah lol.

From best to worst it would be: Tallys, Ayla, Briony!

Thanks for letting us ask anonymously! Who out of the Ros use to tongue while kissing(+ Halek and Croelle)!

This is sort of a funny question haha, I imagine every RO uses tongue once they get comfortable and depending on the occasion! Like every one of them would use it when things are getting hot and heavy, but not every time they kissed MC!

In a modern!AU, how would the Ros react to MC sending them nudes while Ro is at work.

Would gasp dramatically/be shocked or embarrassed

Riel

Shery

Would be intrigued/turned on and would text back and ask if MC is touching themself

Briony

Tallys

Would race home on lunch break

Trouble

Red

Ayla

Would sneak off to the bathroom to take a nude and send it back

Chase

Lavinet

Would be flustered/turned on but would save it until they got home, telling MC that they were being mean/torturous

Blade

I recall reading that Red has never bottomed before. Is he opposed to it? Would he enjoy it?

He's not opposed to it, it's just not his natural inclination and a bit out of his comfort zone! He'd give it a try and would probably enjoy it, but not enough to not instinctually want to top!

Comments

Caelum

I expected as much, on both counts. 😂Croelle doesn't have to worry tho, lol. MC can privately simp for him if that makes him feel better. Should also expect a puppy in the distant future. 👀

Caelum

And Red doesn't have to worry either. He can happily stay a Total Top with any and all of my MCs. 😌
