Hello! I hope you had a great start to your July: I know I did! I successfully baked my first double-layer cake, we (by we I mean my partner's family) are thinking of getting a puppy, which means all the fun and no responsibility for me, and my best friend proposed to his partner while we were there, which is all very exciting!
Despite all that, I've got a lot done on the game: we're well underway into Chapter 5, I've implemented some continuity fixes in past chapters, and beefy gambling and training recruit subsections have been successfully added to your day off sections! I had to double back and do more work on these than I wanted because I tried working on them in a text editor (Sublime) while my laptop was out (that was the other thing, I got my new laptop!), but despite my best efforts, the spacing was all wonky and I had to spend time painstakingly hunting down all the errors. Luckily that didn't seem to affect the main files, but it was still a pain in the butt!
I'm very excited for us to meet Briony soon (hopefully by the time I update the alpha build this month, but no promises), and I've been having a lot of fun torturing MC with the new recruits. You'll even eventually get to send them out on small field missions independently, sort of like the War Table in DA:I, once they've "leveled up" enough! (The results of their mission will be mixed depending on how you've trained them, though.)
During their first meeting, some of the recruits have some questions for MC about things they've heard about their new captain.
However, I got stuck here because I realized there are just so many questions the recruits can ask (both awed and insensitive). So I figured I'd let you pick! I'll choose the top 4 or 5, but it's interesting to think what the recruits in the Order might have heard about MC (and how much they got wrong).
