I agonized for weeks over whether or not I should post this. :( I was pretty anxious and stressed out, for reasons which I think will be clear: but first and foremost, I would like to make it abundantly known that I outlined and scripted the plot of ShoH about 3-4 years ago, and this chapter especially was already drafted out before this update. I wrote the bare bones of it last year and then wrote what you see here sometime last month... but I consider the timing of its release pretty horrible!

Warning: this chapter contains heavy mention and discussion of plague, sickness, and quarantine. 

I absolutely wrote this long before the current situation with coronavirus arose, and I was extremely hesitant to post it in light of the current climate today. I'm very sorry if this is a topic that seems distasteful right now, and I promise that it's not intentional or trying to be topical - it just happens to be a really horrible coincidence! My choices were to either rehaul the chapter entirely in light of current events, which I opted not to do, or to hold off on posting it, but I don't find that fair to readers who do want to read the game's most current chapter if I have it ready. 

So, I hope you will forgive the bad timing! 🙏 If you choose to abstain at this time, I completely understand and thank you for your patience and understanding.
