ShoH Update (January #3) (Patreon)

Hello! Here's my update for this week, told in brief because I'm a bit tired:

• I finally, FINALLY caught up on all the work that fell by the wayside over the holidays! Now I can get back to making ShoH (and my day job) my #1 priority without feeling stressed about missing all these deadlines! 😂 It's such a relief!!!
• I was under a lot of emotional strain these last few weeks because--saying this in the vaguest of terms--I had to edit a book that was not only taking up all of my time, but which was very upsetting and disturbing in content... the very rare downside of working as an editor! But that's over now and my spirit is FREE!
• I've been finding myself a bit physically tired these past few days, so I took more of a break over the long weekend and didn't get to work on the game as much as I wanted. However! I did start on some things, and I'm working on padding just a few hanging loose threads because they're bugging me before I move on with Chapter 3. These are:

- the dances at Prihine's gala (partially done: Blade's is done and Trouble's is partially-done, Riel and Prihine's still need to be written)

- Prihine's romance scene at the end of Chapter 2 (finished but not yet uploaded... there's one part that's more explicit than I first intended--at least I think so--so I'm going to have to think on how I'll handle adult content moving forward...)

- the options to research Black Sun that don't involve asking Shery (not yet started)

- the day off scenes for Chapter 3, particularly Chase and Riel's (not yet started)

- Riel's birthday at the start of Chapter 3 (not yet started but shouldn't take too long)

So that's what I'm currently working on, and when I wipe those up I can continue with writing Chapter 3. :) I find that switching back and forth can give me a breather and let me write in long spurts again on each section after I've been refreshed by writing on the other one!
