ShoH Update, Goody (September #1) (Patreon)

Hi everyone, what a whirlwind month it's been already!

Law school applications opened on the first, so I've been very busy trying to get a handle on those. In addition, my third (!) LSAT is this month, so there's studying for that, working two urgent jobs with deadlines, getting a handle on what's happening with the publication process for WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HERE, having a social life, working on ShoH, and working on this Patreon. That's a lot, so I just wanted to give the heads up that this month a few things may be a few days behind schedule! They will still get done obviously but I'm giving myself just a little leeway to get some applications out first and getting a headstart!

As such (and since we just came back from the big wedding), I only got to work on ShoH a little bit since last week. Just a few paragraphs here and there: certainly not enough to show you. BUT when I'm stressed out, I tend to seek out new things to learn because it relaxes me. (??) So I ended up revamping all the ShoH's Tumblr at 3 AM and teaching myself some haphazard HTML to do it--you can see the new pages here:

In addition, I'm in the process of building a very rough Characters page, which you can see only here on Patreon:

Characters 

Here you can see the characters' bios, callsigns, ranks, weapons, etc... It is very much a work-in-progress, but I'm quite proud of it so far! Some notes:

• The character art is not accurate yet; I'm waiting until I can set aside some money to commission full VN-style body art of the Shepherds, which would also be used in the game. What's there now are free-to-use assets from a Japanese website called tokudaya (sozai set) that I'm using as stand-ins temporarily!
• Some of the icons are new commissioned art by @feather-x-crown!
• The rest of the icons are the colored icons I was planning to release over time; here they are as one big batch! As such, I'm counting this as this month's goody!
• Ignore the height chart for now; I cannot for the life of me get it so the images are lowered to their according heights without also shrinking... If Riel were actually 5'7" on this page, he'd also be the size of a little baby man... I tried for hours before just giving up... Hopefully when I do full body commissions, I can work with the artist to avoid this!
• The callsigns are also works-in-progress. Callsigns are essentially nicknames the Shepherds pick to use in either incognito communications with each other or situations in the field that call for them. (Yes, your MC will get to pick one, too!) I had some trouble with a few and I like others, so the ones I'm iffy one will most likely be the subjects of their own polls in the future, lol. Other callsigns on that page are just nicknames most Shepherds happen to refer to other people by (Prihine, Caine), especially when they're trying to be sneaky.
