A rather quiet nerdy girl, Utami has been a close friend of Ayako for quite some time and one that she confides in with her troubles. Due to her closeness with Ayako, she easily picks up how much she crushes on Takane still despite finding out she's a girl. She would love to help them get together as an actual couple, but she's too shy and quiet to outright say so, so she tries in various roundabout ways to try and help them along on a relationship that neither party really understands actually exists!
