Sometimes things just don't work out, and they're more useful as is instead of erasing them or tossing them out. Here I will go over some stuff that was more or less left on the cutting room floor!

While I didn't dislike this one, but I didn't really like it either. The fact that a little bug got smushed on this page really sealed this drawings fate. Yeah, stuff like that bugs me more than it really should lol

Where was I going with this one? I don't think I even knew when I was doodling this. lol So it should be pretty obvious as to why it didn't get past this part. No tear was shed for abandoning this one.

Sometimes I realize that I started drawing things too close to the edge and should just start over from scratch, but I did use the opportunity to try to think of how her legs would work in this pose that later became this drawing. This is probably the best example of how my art really starts out like. Lots of circles and things overlapping each other.

Not everything I doodle is ever intended to be a finished piece, like this for instance. I never hurts to practice eyes and faces even if it's of a character you draw all the time! There's always some way you can improve on your art! If I remember correctly, I doodled these on my plane ride to Japan.

For something new, this was actually doodled today, mostly to try and rummage ideas for my next Mio Birthday drawing. My initial thought is Mio staying warm with a kotatsu, but as it should be obvious, I didn't think this one had a whole lot of pizazz going for it. Well, I guess I can't very well tease you about this without showing what I am going forward with, even if I kinda want to leave it for a surprise...

Just Mio having some mochi sitting under her kotatsu! God I am such a weeaboo. lol I'm thinking about giving her multiple different outfits this time, like her kimono, bikini, one of her sweaters, etc. Perhaps as many as I have time for? We'll just have to see. Will definitely make time for a background though!

You've probably wondered what's with all the smeared black ink on the cover of this sketch book is. When I was at the Toyosato Elementary School in Japan (For those curious, it's the model school for the one seen in K-ON!) They had a bunch of stamps left out so you could stamp some paper! I tried to stamp the outside of the book, but it didn't really work out the best, but I did stamp some pages on the inside!

Poor Yui, but this came out pretty good!

so many cute stamps, I can't wait to one day visit there again!

Well, there are plenty of pages left in my self proclaimed THE MIO SKETCHBOOK, so here's to more Mio goodies in the future!

PS, if you noticed, I put other sketches I've posted before here, but now are scanned, so check those out
