A Look Back on 2019 (Patreon)

With this year coming to a close, let's take a quick look back on some of the art I've done over the year!

January:

A birthday drawing for Mio Akiyama has been a staple for me since I watched K-ON! back in 2011 (I think, it was either late 2011 or early 2012), so of course I chose this one to represent the first month of the year. This is probably my favorite of the whole year too, I think it really came together well, plus I actually bothered to make a background for this one! Well, keep your eyes peeled for my inevitable Mio 2020 Birthday drawing!

February:

February was the month I started this patreon page, so there were plenty of drawings to pull from, but decided to go with Sawako here. She was the first poll winner, and I just really enjoyed how this one came out. To think it's almost been a full year since I started doing this patreon stuff!

March:

Not a whole lot happened in March, but I did finish this commissioned piece! I always find it interesting when people commission something, but don't want anyone to know that they're the one who commissioned it. Like I get the reasoning, but I find it interesting.

April:

April was when I went on my trip to Japan, but I still managed to get some drawing in. In fact, I worked on this Mio drawing I while in Japan a little bit! Do I have any fans that like my non-fetish stuff, or have they all vanished?

May:

I think my patreon voter demographics changed after this month, as this is the last suggestion poll winner with the pregnancy kink. Oh well, such is life I guess.

June:

June was actually not very productive on the finished drawings side, but this is the month I started the weekly sketch poll, so there were more sketches to make up for it. This Yuna was pretty complicated to do!

July:

While summer is a really busy time at my job, I still managed to get lots of drawings done, especially this monster of a drawing. I spent a lot of time on Mio's nipples in this one, despite them being completely obscured with everything together. lol Good thing they're all on separate layers!

August:

I made sure to get a lot of art done while I was on vacation at the lake this year. there were many good drawings this month, but I just had to go with Lucoa here since it would be criminal not to. I think I was able to replicate the coloring style of Dragon Maid really well here.

September:

September was a month that existed. I also turned the big three-oh this month, but that's not really something that effects my art really...

October:

I really love this Hex Maniac I did, and was kinda disappointed at how little of a splash it made when I posted it on twitter. Perhaps when you've seen one Cow Tits Hex, you've seen them all.

November:

I'm really glad this one got to win the suggestion poll for November, I love the Mio x Ritsu pairing. They're just so cute together!

December:

This buff Mugi is more or less a recreation of an older buff Mugi I did years ago, though this one is noticeably bigger than the other one.. Will this one make the rounds around the internet like my old one did? Probably not, but it is what it is.

And there you have it, some tidbits on my art over the course of this year. One thing I wanna do more of next year is doing backgrounds. I feel like I haven't made much progress on those. Now onward to 2020!

PS I attached the .psd of the basic template I used to make the retrospect so that you can steal it if you want, just make sure you change the name on it to your own if you use it. lol
