It's Endless Eight, but after every loop all the girls get a little bigger, and a little T H I C C E R.

That's the gist of my idea. might turn this into a series, maybe not. Depends if people would like to see that. I just really wanted to do this with Kyon's sister, she's so cute! "Kyon-kun, denwa!"

Anyways, I think I'll use this post to share my thoughts on the Haruhi series, since I don't really have a blog spot and twitter isn't the best for long thoughts... So yeah, I just recently actually watched the entirety of Kyoani's The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya ( Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu is the tag I use on here because the English title is too long to fit in the tag line).

First and foremost, Haruhi herself is a jerk. I mean I'm sure everyone gets that vibe from her, but that one scene where Kyon almost actually punches her for her behavior, I was a little disappointed he didn't actually do so. But deep down, I think Haruhi wants to be dominated by Kyon. Like full on Sadomasochism. Like take Koizumi for instance: He clearly has the hots for Haruhi, and basically says everything to please Haruhi, a total yes man; Still Haruhi doesn't seem to have any feelings for him. Kyon on the other hand, while entertaining some of Haruhi's bullshit, will object and challenge Haruhi's ideas; and Haruhi is head of heels for the dude. I kinda want to draw Haruhi getting dominated by Kyon, but I don't think I have the artistic chops to really do porn like that justice.  C'est la vie...

I feel bad for Mikuru, but man is her voice pretty annoying at times. Do we still get anime characters like that or is she a relic of the 00s? Still I admire her resolve and ability to stay positive. Plus she's got big boobs, you can't go wrong there!

Now Nagato is an interesting character. A seemingly emotionless doll, she has deep seeded desire to be like everyone else. Like Pinocchio she just wants to be a real girl, and even uses her powers to experience that. While I understand why Kyon would choose to return to the main world or whatever you'd like to call it, but I can't help but feel sorry for Yuki. My heart absolutely aches for her, and can totally see why they made a spin-off story about if Kyon chose her instead. Out of the three main girls, she's probably my favorite.

Lastly I'd just like to say that Endless Eight was good. People who described it as the same episode over and over really kinda missed the mark on it. Also the first season should be viewed in airing order.

Well that's it, thanks to anyone who actually bothered to read this, but really, the art is really all I wanted you guys to see anyways...

Good thoughts! That scene made me really dislike Haruhi too and I don't feel as though she ever redeemed herself. As nice as her "other" self looked in gym clothes and a long ponytail....

This is cute!!!!! Please do more!!!!!!! ~~~ I have to agree with a lot of what you said regarding the show. Though, i think Haruhi develops a good bit over the course of the show (see: that time she selflessly helped ENOZ). That said, yeah, she's totally a jerk for most of the show... Poor Mikuru...

True, it's not like Haruhi has no redeeming qualities, and I can totally see why Kyon would fall for her. She's still a jerk though!

I vote go for the plan for continued endless THICCENING Also yeah, I never liked Haruhi. I think it was a crapload of hype over a mediocre anime that just happened to get big at the exact time the internet was primed to latch on to something like that. I'd bet you if it came out five years earlier or later it wouldn't have anywhere NEAR the revered status it seems to have online.

Endless Eight while it was airing was a nightmare, not only did the arc last *two months* but back then we had no idea how long it would actually last for! It was a single chapter in the novels, so nobody thought that they would actually commit to it for eight whole episodes. Haruhi as a series is really nostalgic for me, but I have to admit I think the S1 Broadcast order is the reason why I liked it so much. Haruhis more bitchier moments weren't adapted, and everything airing out of order really reflected the chaotic nature of the S.O.S brigade. Plus I always found it a little jarring that the artstyles switched from 2006 KyoAni, to 2009 Kyoani, then back to 2006 kyoani depending what arc was being adapted. That said, I still love Haruhi and all the other characters. I really hope we see a third season in the future. Also, I see that the endless summer has done Kyons sister some good!
