We do apologize for posting this out of order. We are aware that The Order of the Phoenix is the 5th movie. Due to an error with HBO we watched Half-Blood Prince next. In order to keep our reaction honest we decided to post half-blood prince and will continue with The Order of the The Phoenix in next few days. I am so incredibly sorry for this mix up.

Just wondering if it was possible for yall to watch it with subtitles next movie so you don’t miss any details :)

They are 16 in this film. The British school system is 1st to Upper 6th form, a total of 7 years. You take your final exam to graduate at the end of 5th form. The exam is also a requirement to apply to 6th form (which is the equivalent of a prep college or even a two year college associate degree, in this universe “Ordinary Wizarding Levels” O.W.L.s). Going to 6th form isn’t mandatory, hence the Weasley twins dropping out to start their business. so they are definitely not third years in this, they are in lower 6th form, the age you can become a school Prefect. (I grew up in the British school system so watching this is very nostalgic, being sorted into a house is a real thing. ☺️)
