i cant much speak for classic who, but in nuwho (vague and spoiler free) there's been incarnations of the doctor that have been flirty (albeit awkward about it) with various genders/alien species/sentient machines; so to fans who've been around for long, i dont think the doctor and rogue should be surprising in a negative way. i've been a fan for over a decade myself, and absolutely loved this episode. 11yo-closeted-lesbian me would have been ecstatic seeing this in 2010 haha

Btw, your Disney+ streams are always on point, but with the old watch alongs your stream is too fast. You lose more than 2 minutes on the actual episodes. That's a bit annoying tbh - stop and go, stop and go. Love your 15 reactions, but I am here for the main part of the series. Is it possible to fix this in the edit?

Just to let you know there weren't any charges against barrowman its a lot more complicated than that. He behaved inappropriately on set but he did not assault anyone to my knowledge. JB also apologised for his behaviour on set saying he would not do anything like that today. but ye some people still love him and have forgiven him but some really don't like him and think he is unforgivable.

John is still adored at conventions & to be honest we all knew for years his antics on set were somewhat risque for over 10 years. It only realy blew up (& a lot of us were like this is such old news) & resurfaced when Noel Clarke was accused of inappropriate behaviour by a number of women leading to him being stripped of his Bafta for Outstanding Achievement & being questioned by Police. Coincidentally the police investigation is now over, no charges were brought & he is in the process of sueing several newspapers for loss of earnings due to defamation.
