The point of this episode is when you try to redo something for something as arbitrary as "make the gender different this time", it's gonna fail. I think they did a decent job of masking Dennis' absence here too. I'll give it a 7 outta 10. It's better than escape room. Honestly there's only two episodes back to back that I don't like on this thing. The rest is decent to great. And the great is coming after this in a 4 episode run of bangers. 4, 5, 6 and 7 are all great episodes and so is 10. The two mom's I think are the highlight of this ep.

maybe i'm the odd one out but i really love this season a lot. it's got one of my favorite episodes it's always sunny has ever done. i remember dreading watching this season because everyone always said this is the worst season but i did and i absolutely enjoyed it. each season kind of has it's own feel (like season 6 doesn't feel like season 2 for example). not every episode is gonna hit, especially when it's been this long in the game, but whereas for example with the office, i can't watch it past a certain point, it's always sunny still on average hits the mark every time. so i encourage you to just go into it with an open mind. because while others may really not like it, you might really do. all i know it that i am so excited for the upcoming reactions! :)

You're definitely in a minority on loving this season, but I sometimes wonder if there's a reason some of us judge it more harshly. I'm curious about 2 things... 1. Were you watching it when it was first released and waiting each week for a new episode? 2. Did you know prior to the season that Glenn Howerton/Dennis was basically exiting the show? (it wasn't entirely clear that he was quitting the show, but the general consensus was that he was pretty much done). The combination of those two things REALLLLY put me in a bad mood/mindset when this season first came out. I was pissed each week when the episodes weren't as great, and maybe I judged it too harshly at the beginning. I was just curious if it was different for other people.

oh i definitely understand where you're coming from with that one!!! i did watch it after the season and when everyone told me how awful it was, i got really worried thinking it'd be like an office situation for me but i watched it anyway and really enjoyed a majority of the episodes. for me though i know i am in the minority when it comes to dennis' character in general though in regards to certain things, and i'll admit, i miss the dynamic the gang had in the earlier seasons. but for me there's still so many good moments and episode 10 is just so well done that i can't criticize the season as a whole as much as i've seen others do.

Speaking of the gym - There's a guy on Tiktok who posts stitches/videos calling out women who post videos unfairly accusing men of being creep. He does it in a very fair way though, and also calls out other gym etiquette. A lot of the creep accusers end up making their accounts private. He does positive videos as well. obviously not all women are right, and not all men are wrong, but ultimately, I think the disproportionate conflict in terms of apprehension with the opposite gender is summed up by the paraphrased Margaret Atwood quote "Men are afraid that women will laugh at them, women are afraid that men will kill them." that being said, I love how sunny touches on these issues and satirizes them

Aside from it being the best show on television, I love how when Sunny touches social issues, it's usually the take of "neither extreme knows what they're talking about and if we're deciding that a religion should decide it...."what is happening?"

I think it's way better than 14 when it strikes gold. I think alot of people judge the storytelling above all and possibly Glenn's absence also but I mean...this is the last season where Dee acts like and looks like Dee. The first time I watched this particular episode, I didn't even notice Dennis' absence. Cuz it's an all ladies reboot. The two episodes of this season I didn't like would have been bad to me had Glenn been there or not. The rest of it I really like.

It might not be an amazing season but it beats season 1 still. And honestly in all of the show there are only 2 I don't really like. And only one I can't stand....Frank's Brother.

I never noticed the fact that they reference an episode that isn't released until later in this season. They must have planned for a different release order while filming. Or maybe its intentional.
