Jackson isn't the narrator's name. When Leonard says "That's right, Jackson," Jackson is just a bit of old-timey hipster slang, a word that means "Guy whose name I don't know" -- similar to Mac, Buddy, Homey, Jack, or any number of similar words. The actual narrator was Keith David, a great actor who has done narration for actual Ken Burns documentaries, as well as tons of voice acting for animation, and in-person acting too. You'd undoubtedly recognize him if you saw him.

This episode is very closely parodying/paying homage to the PBS series The Civil War by Ken Burns, one of the most acclaimed historical documentaries ever made.
