My favorite commentary story is from this episode, and it was the creation of Shirley's talking head scene. Apparently during the filming Yvette Nicole-Brown (Shirley) was the only one without a talking head so she wrote to the writer something along the lines of... *in a Shirley voice* "Hello, I noticed I was the only one without a talking head, is there a particular reason I do not have one? If you would be kind I would so love a talking head in your most wonderfully written episode." It felt like such a Shirley thing to do that they just wrote the email into the script almost word for word. P.S. Good luck with finals!

This was the first episode I ever saw, I caught it on TV at my sister’s house and was obsessed, but I thought it was all filmed mockumentary style so it was a shock to go back and start from episode 1.

Pierce's line that Annie was literally just his favorite was actually really sweet. Also, does anyone else find the Troy/Levar Burton scenes incredibly stressful? Like oh my god, that wasn't just petty vengeance, that was completely soul-crushing.
